Wellington Cable Car

the view was lovely at the top of the hill. the staff mention that they did not work with klook on any tickets purchase. however they are still nice to let us thru on both journeys on the trip. maybe klook can take look at this. 😉

Overall it was a good experience. The tickets are quick and easy to redeem. Such a shame we did not see the view from the top in its full glory as it was raining that time, but I'm sure it would have been better if it's sunny. Very convenient and hassle-free transaction with Klook as always. Highly recommended.

Good experience going up the cable car....has a free cable car museum at the tip and a nice cafe at the top

Easy redemption of tickets! It’s a short cable car ride but the view of Wellington city was lovely! Too bad we didn’t have time to take the walk down the Botanic gardens.

The Cable Car is a good experience where after you reached the top of the cable car, you have the option to visit the Cable Car Museum which is interesting. Followed by a visit to Botanic Garden which is huge with many beautiful gardens. You can take many photos during this time. Definitely worth a visit.

You can quickly change the ticket. The cable car is very short, and there will be two similar time tunnels in the middle. After you reach the mountain, you can choose to walk down the mountain to visit the botanical garden, or take the cable car down the mountain again. You can exercise by the way. Tickets are cheap and you have time to come and visit. The view from the hill is beautiful, overlooking Wellington

One way ride will just take about 5 mins then you will be greeted with a nice view of the city at the top. You can also explore royal botanical gardens after

Beautiful view from up top, the cable car museum and space place were very informative and interesting. Spent a good 4hrs in just those 2 places. Would say you don’t need a round trip ticket if you like walks and are not pressed for time. Ended up wasting my return trip as I chanced upon a concert at the soundshell and decided to just walk down into the city instead of back uphill to the cable car. Purchasing through Klook is the same price (or more expensive depending on exchange rates) as onsite unless you have discount codes or are redeeming credits. You still need to show your booking at the ticket counter in town to exchange for a physical ticket.
