Reviews
Guide
- Mingshi Garden is located in Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, about an hour's drive from the famous Detian Transnational Waterfall. It boasts stunning karst peak forests, picturesque mountains and rivers, and is surrounded by green bamboo, earning it the reputation of "Little Guilin." It is also a filming location for the popular TV series "The Journey of Flower." The scenic area perfectly blends natural landscapes with the pastoral scenery of southern China, making it an excellent holiday destination to escape the hustle and bustle and experience a tranquil, slow-paced life.
- The most classic experience when visiting the scenic area is undoubtedly taking a bamboo raft down the Mingshi River. Accompanied by melodious Zhuang folk songs, the bamboo raft slowly glides along the clear river. On both banks, strange peaks stand tall, and phoenix-tail bamboo sways in the wind. The beautiful mountains are reflected in the water, resembling a slowly unfolding Chinese ink painting. Along the way, you can also see crisscrossing rice paddies and peaceful, rustic farm villages, making you feel as if you are in a paradise, breathing in the fresh air of nature.
- In addition to the pleasant water sightseeing, visitors can also go to the Mingshi Garden Zhuang Folk House Museum to visit the Totem Square and Tusi residences, gaining a deeper understanding of Zhuang customs and enjoying ethnic song and dance performances with strong local characteristics. Furthermore, renting a bicycle to ride on the country roads is also a highly recommended way to explore. Cycling along the routes through rice paddies and mountains, you can get up close to the original ecological agricultural culture, which will surely bring you a deeply healing and refreshing journey.
