Q2 Summer Party | CÉ LA VI Taipei & Altitude Presents Featuring DJ 8MAN (Madam Woo Tokyo) & Live Set by JIRO (JP)

After a three-month hiatus, Q PARTY officially returns.

This summer, CÉ LA VI Taipei once again teams up with Altitude (STAYHIGHCREW) to invite two heavyweight musicians from Japan to the high-altitude stage: DJ 8MAN, a leading figure in Japanese Open Format DJs, and JIRO, a new-generation rap artist. From the exquisite selections and mixing of world-class DJs to infectious Live Hip-Hop performances, these two distinct yet equally energetic musical expressions will collectively create a summer night party spanning Tokyo and Taipei.

JIRO (Tokyo)

JIRO, from Tokyo, is a new-generation rap artist with multiple creative identities. Based on contemporary American Hip-Hop aesthetics, he builds a complete creative worldview through music, visuals, and visual language, quickly gaining attention in Japan's new-generation cultural scene.

His debut single "TAIPEI LIT" featured Korean rapper BLASÉ for the remix and was produced by Bainz, a mixing engineer who has worked with international artists such as Young Thug and Gunna, showcasing creative energy that spans Tokyo, Seoul, and Taipei. This will be his first performance in Taipei, where he will not only perform his representative works but also debut his latest single live, delivering an infectious and explosive Live Set that allows the audience to experience JIRO's unique musical charm up close.

DJ 8MAN (Madam Woo Tokyo)

Having started his DJ career in 1995, DJ 8MAN has been active in Tokyo and Yokohama for many years and is one of Japan’s leading Open Format DJs. He consecutively won the Red Bull Thre3Style Japan Finals in 2011 and 2012, representing Japan in the World Finals, demonstrating excellent Turntablism skills and cross-genre mixing abilities. He has served as an opening DJ for international artists such as T.I., The Game, Jim Jones, and T-Pain. In recent years, he has been active in well-known platforms and venues such as Madam Woo Tokyo, AbemaMix, and WREP Lounge, while also serving as the official DJ for Japanese rapper Kenny-G. With precise selections, innovative mixing techniques, and rich live experience, every performance brings the dance floor atmosphere to its peak.

In addition to DJ 8MAN and JIRO from Tokyo, this Q PARTY also brings together four Taiwanese DJs to form the complete lineup.

CÉ LA VI Taipei Resident DJs d.YellowTape and JOSHY will perform alongside key STAY HIGH CREW members NEOL and BIUN. From the opening to the last song, they will connect the rhythm of the entire night with their distinct musical styles, creating a summer night party spanning Tokyo and Taipei with the two Japanese guests.
