Guide

  • The Jiulong Waterfalls Group, located in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It is renowned as "one of China's most beautiful waterfalls" due to its magnificent and spectacular waterfall landscape. Situated on the edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the area's unique geological structure and water erosion have created a group of ten waterfalls varying in height, width, and form. Among them, the largest, the "Shenlong Waterfall" (Divine Dragon Waterfall), plunges over fifty meters, with water cascading down like thunder, creating a powerful visual impact.
  • Visitors can follow the boardwalk upstream to experience the awe-inspiring sight of "water flowing down three thousand feet" up close. They can also take a cable car directly to the mountaintop observation deck to take in the panoramic view of these ten cascading waterfalls, resembling a silver river, along with the surrounding karst pastoral scenery. Every year in February and March, when the rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, the golden sea of flowers and the silvery white waterfalls complement each other, forming Luoping's most classic natural painting. This is an excellent time for photography enthusiasts to capture magnificent landscape masterpieces.
  • As a representative natural landmark in eastern Yunnan, the Jiulong Waterfalls Group attracts countless tourists to explore its unique geological wonders and the rich ethnic customs of the Buyi people. Whether strolling along the misty forest boardwalks or listening to the sound of water by the gentle shallows, this place offers travelers a refreshing journey that cleanses the soul and deeply reconnects them with nature.
