Surrounded by historic streets and traditional wooden townhouses, you’ll step into the elegance of classical Japan. Take part in a traditional tea ceremony, or chanoyu, guided by a skilled tea host. Observe the careful preparation of matcha and learn the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. You’ll also participate firsthand, practicing proper etiquette and enjoying seasonal wagashi sweets.
Good to know
Children under 5 can join for free. However, please note that yukata sizes are not available for very young children, and preparing matcha independently is difficult for them.
