In winter Hokkaido, snow is the protagonist, and lights are the supporting role. Starting from Sapporo, in the morning, we first visit the Christmas tree in the snow. Standing alone in the snowfield, it has a special charm, a simple yet beautiful scene that is a must-visit for winter photos.

Next is the Ken & Mary Tree (viewed from the car), a classic Hokkaido photo spot. A straight tree in the snow, standing on a hill, with a super wide background when viewed from afar. Every photo looks like a postcard.

In the afternoon, we slowly arrive at Shikisai no Oka. The snow-covered hills are full of layers, and the snow crunches underfoot. The vastness of Hokkaido washes over you. This place is especially suitable for slowing down. Every casual shot looks like a masterpiece, and the light and shadow are incredibly beautiful. The most anticipated part is the illumination of Shirogane Blue Pond at nightfall. Blue light and shadows reflect between the ice, snow, and withered trees. The whole world becomes quiet, with only the dreamy scene of light and snow intertwined. This can truly only be seen in winter. The blue pond water combined with the snow scene creates an absolutely stunning moment for photos or check-ins ❄

Finally, we go to the Ningle Terrace. The entire cluster of small wooden houses is surrounded by white snow. Walking in feels like stepping into a fairy tale world. With a casual shot, snow on the eaves and light through the windows create a perfect picture.

After a day, the snow scene + lights + small wooden houses + blue pond water complete a magical winter Hokkaido experience in one go.
