10/10 experience! The best souvenir! The instructor is a beautiful young Japanese man with superb English. Lots of different woods to select from. We chose the Japanese Walnut with personalised engraving. The magic truley comes alive once you oil the chopsticks at the end. We will be using them constantly when we are back home 🥰
My family and I had such an amazing time. the instructors were very helpful and patient. Beautiful selection of wood to choose from and keeping some of the shavings from our handy work was a lovely bonus. Being able to customize them with engraving made even more special. Very much recommended for a unique experience that is also a great souvenir.
It was an amazing experience. The instructor was friendly and very helpful, which made everything even more enjoyable. We had the best time, and it was absolutely worth doing. I highly recommend giving it a try!
We booked this last minute and we are so glad we did. Made our very own chopsticks and learnt so much. Thank you for running this class
We had a wonderful time at this chopstick making workshop with our 2 kids (aged 9 and 7). It was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience from start to finish. The process is well guided. we got to pick our own pieces of wood to start with. Then shaving the wood down and sanding it until it was smooth. The absolute highlight for them was using the laser to engrave their names and some cute graphics onto their own chopsticks. it's a memorable sovenior to take home from our trip!
This chopstick-making class was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan! The instructor was patient, welcoming, and made the entire experience enjoyable, even for beginners. I loved learning about the different types of wood and the meaning behind them before creating my own personalized chopsticks. Being able to engrave my chopsticks with my name in Japanese, an orchid, and my favorite Bible verse made this experience incredibly special and personal. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were excellent, and I now have a beautiful keepsake that I’ll cherish for years. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Osaka who wants a unique, hands-on cultural experience. It was fun, meaningful, and something I’ll never forget. Thank you for such a wonderful memory!
