The old street consists of three main streets, with most tourists concentrated in Kami Sannomachi. Walking further back, there are fewer people. As an important traditional building group conservation area, it attracts tourists from all over the world! [Shirakawa-go Light-Up] Shirakawa-go is located in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, and is famous for its unique gassho-style wooden houses, which are listed as a World Heritage Site. In autumn, it is like a palette overturned by nature, with red maple leaves, yellow leaves, and rustic wooden houses complementing each other. After the winter snow, this place is like Miyazaki Hayao’s fairy tale world. Every winter, Shirakawa-go holds a light-up ceremony for only 4 days a year. As the sky gradually darkens, the snow-covered thatched houses and the orange light surround each other. When the snow-covered gassho-style houses become faintly visible in the soft light, it is as beautiful as being in a fairy tale world~
