Reviews
It was a very good experience. The person in charge of the workshop was very caring! I learned a lot from her. Wagashi is truly a traditional Japanese art, I recommend the workshop to those who want to get closer to this culture. Thank you again!!!
experience: Must do for anyone who comes to Sendai! A great experience to make your own seasonal wagashi! The teacher is really friendly and gives really clear instructions so it's easy to follow along. The ingredients are really high quality so the sweets taste really delicious. location: The whole session is about 1 hour. Also the workshop is on the 7th floor of the building so you need to take the elevator just inside I did it solo but it would also be fun in a group!
If you’re in Sendai, make this a must-do! The class is fantastic and incredibly beginner-friendly. You’ll leave with a traditional Japanese dessert you’ve made yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed this class; it offered a wonderful insight into Japanese culture through food. I was the only student when I attended and I had a great time laughing and chatting with the teacher throughout. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
