What to expect
* 2026 Nagaoka Fireworks Festival (includes Japanese yukata; one size fits all; not provided to minors) | Japan's Three Great Fireworks Limited Festival, the most spectacular revival prayer romance in the summer night sky ✨
- From August 2–3, a magnificent display will unfold along the Shinano River, with tens of thousands of fireworks lighting up the entire summer night sky every evening from 19:20–21:10.
- The grand finale of the three famous fireworks is a must-see: the Phoenix Fireworks, accompanied by "Jupiter," a 5-minute miracle, with golden streams of light covering 2 kilometers of the riverbank.
- The true Sanjakudama explodes into a giant light flower with a diameter of 650 meters, paired with the Niagara Falls fireworks, creating a visual and auditory shock that goes straight to the heart.
- The Mihyappyo 100-shot Shakudama concludes the show, grand and magnificent like daylight, carrying the profound meaning of revival and hope.
- It is recommended to bring your own cushion, poncho, light jacket, flashlight, wet wipes, and drinking water. Remember to take precautions against mosquitoes as the night can be slightly cool.
- After the fireworks, the crowd will be immense, and buses are expected to depart late at night, allowing you to immerse yourself in the afterglow all evening. Traveling through the night, you will return to central Tokyo (Shinjuku/Ueno/Tokyo Station) for dispersal around 5-6 AM the next day, tired but incredibly worthwhile 🌙

- [Explanation of gifts and B-area front-row package] The complimentary Japanese yukata is a standard size; regarding the "front row" description in the "B-area group seating (front row)" package, there might be a translation issue. It refers to seats closer to the front, not necessarily the first row. This is a special note. Please be aware.
- [In case of severe weather] The Nagaoka Fireworks Association reserves the right to cancel the fireworks festival. If a decision to cancel the fireworks festival is made before departure, the trip will be canceled or postponed. If no decision to cancel the fireworks display is made before departure, your trip will proceed as planned. After departure, all travel expenses are non-refundable.
- [Recommended items to bring] Please be sure to prepare the recommended items to ensure a comfortable and safe viewing of the fireworks.
- [Notification time and method] We will send an email between 20:00 and 21:00 on the day before departure, informing you of the guide and vehicle information. The email may be mistakenly classified as spam, so please check carefully. In case of peak season or special circumstances, the email sending time may be delayed, and the last email sent will prevail.
- [Meeting and late arrival instructions] This activity is a shared car trip, so please be sure to arrive at the meeting point on time. Late arrivals cannot be waited for or refunded, and you will be responsible for any resulting liabilities and costs. Thank you for your understanding.
- [Vehicle type and accompanying language instructions] We will arrange the vehicle type according to the number of participants on the day, and you cannot specify the vehicle type. Please be aware that you may share a car with guests who speak other languages during the trip.
- [Meeting point confirmation] Please be sure to confirm the meeting point before departure. Once the meeting point is confirmed, please do not change it temporarily. If you are unable to board the car due to changing the meeting point for personal reasons, no refund will be given. Thank you for your understanding.
- [Seasonal activity instructions] Seasonal activities such as cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, special flower seasons, snowscapes, lantern festivals, and festive events are susceptible to weather or other force majeure factors. If no official cancellation notice is received, the trip will depart as scheduled. If the flowering period or scenery is not as expected, no refund will be given. Please be aware.
- [Departure time may be adjusted] During peak tourist season or in special circumstances, the departure time of the trip may be advanced or delayed. The specific time will be subject to the email notification on the day before departure, so please prepare in advance.
- [Vehicle seating arrangement instructions] For shared car trips, seating is generally on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have special requests, please note them when booking, and we will do our best to coordinate, but the final arrangement will be subject to the guide's on-site dispatch.
- [Itinerary sequence adjustment instructions] Due to strict control over the operating hours of vehicles in Japan, the attractions, transportation, and stopover times included in the itinerary will be flexibly arranged according to the actual situation on the day. In case of traffic jams, weather changes, or other special circumstances, the guide will consult with the majority of opinions and reasonably adjust the sequence or reduce some attractions. Your cooperation is appreciated.
- [No leaving the group midway instructions] The itinerary is a group tour activity, and you cannot leave the group midway or without authorization. If you choose to leave the group midway, the remaining itinerary will be considered voluntarily abandoned, and no refund will be given. Any risks or responsibilities arising from leaving the group will be borne by the individual.
- [End time is for reference only] The return time frame is the estimated arrival time. Due to the long driving distance of the trip, the return arrival time may be affected by traffic or weather. It is recommended that you avoid arranging other activities on the day the trip ends. Our company will not be liable for any losses incurred due to delays.
