This day trip from Busan to Ulju and Yangsan offered a unique blend of Korean nature and culture that I rarely experience. Exploring the Amethyst Cave was my first time venturing into a mine, and I was amazed by the interplay of light and the shimmering minerals within. Next, visiting the ancient Joseon fortress wall and Tongdosa Temple was steeped in history. The atmosphere at Tongdosa Temple was particularly serene and solemn, encouraging a slower pace and inner reflection. The overall itinerary was well-organized, with comfortable transportation provided, eliminating any concerns about travel routes, which is very convenient for independent travelers. If you're looking to escape the bustling city and delve into local Korean culture and natural attractions, this day trip is highly recommended.

The amethyst cave is very unique and cool! A relaxing, independent trip without too much to worry about.
Visit the Amethyst Cave in the morning, the Eonyang Eupseong Walled Town at noon (lunch on your own), and the Dongdo Temple in the afternoon. No need to worry about transportation – see all the classic landmarks in one go.
Many attractions combine local Korean culture and history. The Amethyst Cave is very cold, so remember to bring a light jacket even if the weather is hot.
