Kyushu Culture and Nature Tour: Dazaifu Kimono Experience / Strawberry Picking・Yanagawa River Cruise・Tosu Premium Outlets Seasonal Limited Itinerary (Departing from Fukuoka)

This was my first time on a one-day tour, and our guide, Thomas (Zheng Ouming), was very friendly and took great care of everyone in the group. The day before, I used WeChat to ask if I could bring my luggage on the bus, and he responded quickly. Although the strawberry season was nearing its end, we still found some super large strawberries. The boat experience on Yanagawa River was highly recommended! The boatman was very entertaining. The unagi (eel) rice at Yanagawa was delicious; I personally loved it. Koiki Shrine was great for photos, with wisteria flowers... 30 minutes might not be enough for those who love taking pictures. Tosu Premium Outlets had many discounts, and if you look carefully, you can find some great value-for-money items. The pick-up location was easy to find. I now have another option for future one-day tours.

This tour was great! we had a bit of rainy weather but we were still able to do the riverboat. The rain from last few days made the ninja (jump) bridge very tight but it was really fun. our guide Thomas was great and took photos for us as well

The itinerary is relaxing and good for first time visitors. Our guide is Yang Zhou, who was very helpful & knowledgeable. She shared many food tips & made great food recommendations. The strawberry picking was fun and the boat ride was a fantastic experience. The eel rice was very yummy. We enjoyed our trip.

Our tour guide made thoughtful arrangements. After picking strawberries, everyone ate their fill. The activities were adjusted on the fly; we visited the love shrine before going boating. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the shrine offered free red bean cakes and matcha, which we enjoyed thanks to our guide, Cico! Overall, the activities were great! The guide also proactively helped with photos, very professional! 👍🏻

I highly recommend this tour. You can pick strawberries (they taste great!). Our guide, Zhang Dong, was very kind and introduced us to Fukuoka's attractions and restaurants. He also asked if anyone needed to use the restroom at each new attraction, which showed how attentive he was! His driving skills were excellent, and his voice was very gentle, so I could sleep soundly on the bus 😆. On the day of our return, a fellow traveler wasn't feeling well. Remembering that Zhang Dong said we could ask him for help with anything, I contacted him immediately to ask if he could book a car to the airport. He replied immediately, saying he would arrange for a colleague from his company to contact us, and we were able to get to the airport smoothly! He even followed up to check on our situation afterward. I am very grateful for Zhang Dong's help and will contact him again next time I go to Fukuoka. I hope to organize a day trip with him!

Lina was a wonderful, fun and kind tour guide. During our tour, Lina provide rich historical knowledge and fun tips to maximize the experience. highly recommend this tour and the strawberry and unagi bento was amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip with its unique itinerary. Cico, our tour guide, was excellent and very helpful. She speaks multiple languages, including English and Chinese. She also assisted in securing our lunch at the unagi restaurant in Yanagawa. Some points for improvement: 1. While the bus was okay, it seemed a bit old. It lacked cup holders for bottles and organizers at the back of the seats. Additionally, the seat I was in didn’t have enough legroom due to the wheel placement. As this itinerary requires a lot of traveling, having a more comfortable bus should be considered. 2. I believe it would be best to separate English and non-English speaking guests into different batches, if possible, so that the tour guide doesn’t have to explain everything twice. This can be time-consuming, and I feel some items may not have been fully discussed in English due to time constraints.

Our tour guide, Miss Yang, was really great! Her explanations were concise and informative, and she took great care of us along the way. The first stop on the itinerary was the strawberry farm. I woke up and didn't even need breakfast because I was full from eating strawberries 🍓. They were all so fragrant and sweet, and 1 hour was plenty of time 😬. The last stop was the outlet, which only had 2 hours, but I still had a fruitful shopping experience 🛍️🛍️.

Our tour guide, Ms. Yang, is very kind 👍. During the trip, she would appropriately remind us of things to note at the attractions and provide appropriate introductions, leaving rest time for the early rising group members 👍. The strawberry farm tour was the one we were most looking forward to. All-you-can-eat Japanese strawberries 🍓 for one hour with a ¥2500 ticket is really worth it. You can taste different varieties of strawberries, and each one is big and sweet ❤️. The Romance Shrine ⛩️ is very suitable for couples 👫, small but very photogenic 👘. The boatman in Yanagawa is very interesting, we had a delicious and fun day 👍. The itinerary is very good, recommended for people who don't drive but want to go around 👍👍.

Have a nice trip! Our tour guide Cico was very friendly and helpful. You can eat as much strawberries as you want, it's very satisfying. Afterwards we went to experience boating in Liuzhou. The master was singing as he rowed to the bottom of the bridge. Everyone curled up nervously, looking forward to crossing the bridge. It was an unprecedented experience! I am very satisfied with today's trip. I will join the tour group next time I come to Fukuoka.
