Reviews
Experiencing downhill skiing at Teine Ski Resort in Hokkaido was a thrilling and unforgettable first-time experience. The ski resort is large-scale with soft, fine snow, so even beginners won't get hurt too much if they fall, which makes them more willing to try. The instructor explained everything clearly, guiding us step-by-step from putting on equipment and standing up to turning and braking, making the learning process much more reassuring. At first, I kept falling and my whole body was tense, but as I gradually got the hang of my balance and was able to ski smoothly, I felt a real sense of accomplishment. Riding the gondola uphill allowed me to enjoy the vast snowscape and distant mountain views along the way, which relaxed me. Overall, Teine Ski Resort is perfect for beginners and travelers who want to challenge themselves, making it the most exciting and unforgettable stop on my Hokkaido trip.
1. Regarding the meeting point: The bus station was under construction in February, which made it difficult to find after exiting JR. Luckily, we left early. Because we didn't have LINE, we couldn't contact anyone and had to wander around to find it. 2. Regarding equipment: Protective gear is available for rent on-site, including helmets, complete ski suits, ski boots, and snowboards. They will also help guide you with the boots. 3. Regarding safety: After arriving, the morning session will be divided into two groups of 16 people with two instructors, and the afternoon session will be one instructor for 8 people. Don't panic if you fall; the more you rush, the harder it is to get up. The instructor will assist you. 4. After all, it's just a trial lesson, so don't expect to learn a lot in one day. Lunch is at your own expense. 5. Summary: The beginner's lesson is a good value for money (there's also a photographer to help take pictures).
It was a superb experience with Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. The guide was very patient and friendly. They also took a lot of photo of me and my gf.
Good ski experience and instructor was good. Ski lesson and package was conducted in Mandarin Chinese, so basic understanding is required. Else, a wonderful experience and the instructor was patient and amazing. Definitely recommended for beginners. Safe and nice place to ski.
It was such an awesome first ski experience at Sapporo Teine with Coach Qing who was considerate and careful. With his guidance, we were able to complete the simplified course safely. This has indeed made our first ski experience a wonderful one, we will definitely come back to Japan to Ski or Snowboard in the future.
My first time experiencing alpine skiing at Teine Ski Resort in Hokkaido was both nerve-wracking and exciting. The snow quality was fine and soft, so falling didn't hurt too much, which made it feel safer for beginners. With the instructor's guidance, I slowly learned to turn and brake. Although I fell frequently, the sense of accomplishment when I successfully skied was immense. It was an unforgettable and fun first experience.
Safety: Great. Experience: Excellent. Ski equipment: Great, the staff will provide careful guidance. Scenery: The ski resort is fantastic.
The coach is very enthusiastic and teaches carefully. During the lessons, everyone has the opportunity to practice one-on-one. They also provide special reminders and precautions for risky behaviors.
Our guide didn’t speak much English, but he was still very helpful, patient, and accommodating throughout the activity. He made sure we were safe and comfortable the whole time. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience 9/10! Would definitely recommend. ❄️🎿
The chartered transfer service to and from Sapporo was very convenient. We chose the all-inclusive package, and the ski clothing and equipment provided were complete and clean. We opted for snowboarding, with 8 people per group and an instructor. There was also a photographer who could ski, which was well-arranged, and you could ask him to take photos for you before starting.
