very recommended to join this tour. you can rest in the bus along the 5 hours journey to monbetsu. it had a few stops for you to go to the restroom. so no need to worry about the train schedule and looking for the correct train or bus. a hassel free trip!! the tour guide can’t speak good English but she did write it on the paper and go to foreigner one by one to explain the bus rules and the trip itinerary. Very passionate person!

the japanese guide English was terrible. she barely share anything. she was more worry that the passengers litter the coach. however she did give details in japanese as there were japanese passengers and somehow they were seated at the front row. the seating plan was also poorly done and caused a lot of confusion. they should just label the seat on the drawing. it was a 12 hr tour. 1 hr was fir the cruise. it is worthy if u see the drift Ice. if not, I will cry.

Well, the trip was very good overall. Unfortunately, due to weather reasons, the waves were too big, so all the icebreakers could not go out to sea. We had probably traveled nearly two-thirds of the way when we received a notice from the shipping company. Jiang said that there was no other way and all the ships had to return to the port. That was indeed the case when we arrived at the destination. We saw that the wind and waves were very strong. This could not be blamed on Chuanjia. In the end, they refunded us, but it was relatively regrettable. We walked a long way, actually just to see this wonder with all our heart, but throughout the trip, whether it was the tour guide or the driver, they were locals from Sapporo, Japan. Their English might not be very good, but they were very patient and nice. There was actually no obstacle to communication. They also took us to other attractions, including the ice skating museum and the seafood market. Overall, the experience was pretty good.

So lucky to see the ice! It is very flexible that you can cancel 24 hours in advance. You can keep checking the drift ice conditions of the Hokkaido Maritime Safety Agency in advance. The gathering on the day of departure was smooth. The tour guide Mr. Miyagi knew a little English. At the same time, the explanation on the bus was translated into English and Chinese with the app. The English translation was correct and the Chinese translation was not good, but it was enough for the elders to understand. The tour guide was very kind and would try his best to help if there were any questions. 👍The drive along the way was long but the scenery was beautiful. The toilet arrangement was also appropriate. It was suitable for the elders to have a good rest after walking a lot of free travel the day before. Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommended this trip.

Although we couldn't see any drift ice, the experience was good. The boat was very stable. Even though it was a Japanese tour, the boarding and meeting times were clear and easy to understand, and we were able to communicate with the tour guide.
