Phantom Island Landing & Snorkeling Half-Day Course

If you don't request a pick-up/drop-off service separately, they won't come to pick you up. So, if you need it, be sure to request it via LINE or email. Otherwise, you'll have to go to the tour company yourself. The tour details aren't very descriptive, but there are two main points. After about a 40-50 minute boat ride, you'll arrive at the first point, where you'll snorkel in the middle of a coral reef for about an hour. The second point seemed to take about 15-20 minutes to reach. You'll then go to Fantasy Island, where you'll have 30 minutes, and you'll need to return your rented snorkel gear. There are fewer fish than in Southeast Asia, just so you know, haha... Be sure to bring your own water and drinks! The sea is beautiful. My father is over 65, and we didn't bring a doctor's note, but everyone should make sure to bring one. He couldn't snorkel, but he was able to ride the boat. The main customers are Japanese, and they only speak basic English, so if you're new to snorkeling, this tour might be a bit difficult. There's not much information about Ishigaki tours, so I'm leaving this review. Hope it helps everyone! 🥹

Since we don't speak Japanese, our accompanying coach, who spoke excellent English, explained everything to us again. Phantom Island's sandbar is absolutely beautiful, giving off a Maldives vibe, and the snorkeling spot has an abundance of tropical fish. Overall, it was definitely worth the price.

We really enjoyed the snorkeling tour today. Everything was very well organized, and they explained everything to us in English. If you’re ever in Ishigaki , we highly recommend the snorkeling tour with this company.

During the snorkeling course, they even took into account each individual's skill level! I received extra information about diving. The tour company was extremely accommodating. There was a mix up in the morning regarding pick up, when we called them letting them know that pick up didn’t show up at the hotel, they sent someone right away and waited for our group to arrive at the port. The tour itself was fun and efficient. They allowed adequate time for both events, snorkeling and visiting Phantom island. We loved Phantom Island, beautiful with crystal clear water.

The instructor was very attentive, accompanying us throughout the snorkeling trip, which made us feel very safe. The instructor was professional and patient, and could speak simple English. The location had beautiful scenery.

It's great for light snorkeling. The water color was so clear and beautiful when we stopped by the island.

Smooth run down. We went to the beach first and then snorkeling. Many fishes but small and very colorful. it’s fun.

I was worried because of the rain, but I trusted the company that said they would proceed safely as planned, and tried snorkeling for the first time~~ It was so much fun^^ I couldn't believe how clear and beautiful the ocean was...
