Pingtung-Lampi Jieyou Sightseeing Train | Fangliao-Taitung

The Train is antique and unique, the Tourguide is very informative and humourous. The journey is very fun and enjoyable. The pacific ocean view is especially spetacular. Highly recommend to visitors would like to ride in train and see the views of East Coast.

It was beyond my expectation. I thought it was just a simple train tour, but the itinerary was actually quite rich. The tour guide (Xiao Zhuang) was very good and let us learn a lot of information. I hope there could be more stops in the middle so that we can know more about the local area. In addition, the trip also allowed us to experience the flavor of an old-fashioned train, whether it was turning off the lights to experience the tunnel, turning on the night lights, and using the old electric fans, etc. It was very novel to see everyone's reactions. I have recommended it to my colleagues, it is worth the trip!

Super cute route with a lunchbox included, however, No drinks are included during the righteous in the beginning when you collect your ticket . make sure to sit on the right side facing train direction because that’s where the seaside is. I took the train when it was raining, but it was still nice. Of course I would prefer everything to be blue or just like the lovely blue train.

On the day, we took the blue-skinned Jieyou train from Fangliao to Taitung. The guide was friendly and professional, and the explanations were lively and humorous. He also helped us take photos. There were retro fans and night light tunnels in the car, which were very atmospheric. There were lunch boxes and fruits on the way out, and snacks and black tea on the way back. We stopped at Jinlun Station on the way to experience the tribal culture. The scenery along the way was beautiful, especially the East Coast and sunset on the way back were unforgettable. It was a relaxing and warm healing journey.

It was so moving that it could be said to be the climax of the trip around Taiwan. The blue of the sky and the blue of the sea were a sight to behold. From Taitung to Fangliao, we'll stop for an hour in Jinlun for a local walking tour.
