Ishigaki Island: Full-Day Tour - Mangrove SUP/Canoe & Blue Cave Snorkeling

The meeting location was convenient, and the pick-up staff were friendly and welcoming. They had the appropriate shoes ready in the vehicle that morning. The mangrove canoe experience was great, the leader was attentive, caring, and provided detailed explanations, and took many photos. The Blue Cave tour in the afternoon was less impressive, especially the Blue Cave itself, which was a bit disappointing. The snorkeling was more fun. It was strange that everyone had to walk in the sea instead of swimming out. Walking is actually more dangerous. Overall, I was still satisfied.

This was the most enjoyable and exciting experience I had during my trip to Ishigaki Island. Even though it was my first time snorkeling, the guide Diego made me feel very safe and comfortable. Mangrove kayaking with guide Yuna was more peaceful than ever. Along the way, She explained every little detail—trees, birds, crabs—without missing a single detail, making it as enjoyable as a child's experience of nature. Thanks to Yuna and Diego for sharing such beautiful photos. Anyone traveling to Ishigaki Island must try this experience! This is the best.

It was a fun trip, both kayaking and snorkelling. A great experience kayaking in the mangrove. Lots of fish and beautiful coral at the snorkelling spot although we could not go to the blue cave due to sea condition. Chapeau to our guide Aoi who is so energetic and helpful!!

Today's itinerary was perfect, and the weather was great. Instructor: Aoi is a handsome guy who speaks Chinese and English, making communication very smooth. He is very responsible, took a lot of photos for everyone, and gave very detailed explanations. He also took care of everyone's condition while snorkeling. Safety: The tour company is very responsible. You need to fill out a personal consent form before departure. The instructor repeatedly asked about everyone's physical condition to ensure safety. Location: The sea in Ishigaki is beautiful, with many different kinds of fish. We saw clownfish today, and if you're lucky, you'll see sea turtles, but unfortunately, we didn't see any today.

Our itinerary was mangrove kayaking in the morning and snorkeling at the Blue Cave in the afternoon. It was my first time kayaking, and I already love it! Especially on such calm water, it's so relaxing! Our snorkeling instructor, Yuki, took great care of us the entire time, and even though I'm not a strong swimmer, I felt completely at ease! This was my first time visiting Ishigaki Island, and my friends and I signed up for this day tour. In the morning, we went kayaking in the Red Mangrove Forest, but the water was too shallow in many areas, making it difficult to paddle. The time felt a bit short, but I want to commend our guide, Petro, for his enthusiastic explanations. He's British, so his explanations were very clear, and he even proactively took photos for us. After returning to the pier and disbanding for lunch, we reconvened at 1:30 PM for the afternoon snorkeling activity. We had originally booked for the Blue Cave, but the guide said the weather wasn't suitable, so we switched to Sakura Beach. Wow, the underwater world was beautiful! Our guide, Fuuma, was very handsome and cheerful, but unfortunately, there was a language barrier. He mainly spoke Japanese throughout, and my friends and I couldn't understand anything, so we just held onto our floats and followed along to see the underwater world. Thank you, Fuuma, for taking photos of my friends and me underwater; we loved them! I'll definitely book this tour again next time I visit Ishigaki. 🤩

Probably one of the best days of our trip. Both Sota and Hina made us both feel very welcome especially as we are both English speaking. They both had a very strong amount of knowledge about the activities and a clear love for the island. Everything was prepared for us so all we had to do was turn up with suncream, a spare change of clothes and a smile. Thank you so much both for an incredible day!!

We began our day with an exciting canoeing adventure in the mangroves. After a helpful introduction to canoeing techniques, we set off into the lush greenery. The experience was both fun and immersive, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of nature up close. After our canoeing session, we returned to the ferry terminal, where we had a variety of restaurants to choose from. In the afternoon, we went snorkeling near the stunning Blue Cave. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the water was crystal clear. I felt very safe throughout the experience, thanks to our caring guide who ensured everyone was comfortable and well-informed. Overall, it was an unforgettable day filled with adventure and beautiful scenery!

This day was really fun ! The guides are really nice and will make sure to make you feel safe and comfortable ! The meeting point is also super easy to find and all the equipment is provided. It was my first time doing snorkeling but I felt super safe and the guide Yūki was really fun and could speak English. We were so lucky that day and saw plenty of species and sea turtles ! The guides always take lots of pictures so you can have memories after that! I highly recommend !
