Reviews
Everything was exactly as described. It would have been nice to have an Ebike option for the price. In the end the boat ride was easy, the pickup and drop-off was swift and not complicated. Having the QR code made things simple
definitely worth the visit. voucher is easy to claim . renting a bike is okay. easy to get lost . i rented a bike an i couldnt find my way to the beaches. if you are fit enough to bike around then bike is a good way to go. bring first aid kits just in case you are clumsy like me . beaches are so nice. safe so far, i travelled alone and i can leave my stuff in the beach unattended.
Title: An Unforgettable Experience on Rottnest Island: Cycling and Meeting Quokkas Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rottnest Island and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience. The island offers a unique combination of natural beauty, adventure, and the opportunity to interact with the adorable and friendly quokkas. One of the highlights of my trip was exploring the island on a bicycle. The moment I hopped on my bike, I felt a sense of freedom and excitement. The island is car-free, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely ride while soaking in the breathtaking coastal scenery. The well-maintained cycling paths and the absence of traffic made the experience even more enjoyable. As I pedaled my way around the island, I couldn't help but be captivated by the stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rugged landscapes. Each turn revealed a new hidden gem, and I found myself stopping frequently to take in the beauty of my surroundings. The feeling of the wind in my hair and the salty sea breeze on my face created a sense of pure bliss. But the real highlight of my visit was encountering the adorable quokkas. These small marsupials are known for their friendly and curious nature. As I explored the island, I came across several quokkas hopping around and enjoying their natural habitat. They were incredibly photogenic, and I couldn't resist taking a few selfies with them. It was an absolute joy to interact with these unique creatures, and their presence added an extra layer of charm to the island. The island is also home to a variety of cafes and restaurants, offering delicious food and refreshing drinks. After a long day of cycling and quokka encounters, I treated myself to a scrumptious meal at one of the local eateries. The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, my visit to Rottnest Island was an unforgettable experience. The combination of cycling through picturesque landscapes and meeting the delightful quokkas made it a truly magical adventure. I highly recommend visiting Rottnest Island to anyone seeking a unique and memorable getaway. Whether you're an avid cyclist, a nature lover, or simply looking to unwind in a beautiful setting, Rottnest Island has something special to offer.
Spent almost one full day at the island. It's super beautiful and managed to catch a glimpse of the star of the island, Quokka. Weather was super hot as we are in the middle of summer and got sun burnt due to cycling.
The voucher could’ve stated clearly that we have to exchange to a physical tickets before boarding the ship, luckily I arrived 10mins earlier, had to run all the way to the booth to redeem physical tickets and thank god I made it back on time as the ship leaves at 9:30AM SHARP! Other than that, it was a nice experience overall.
such a great experience! the island is beautiful, we saw a lot of quokkas! the ferry is clean and fast. the bikes we got were in great condition, very easy to use. everything is well organized
Had a fun day on the island cycling round to find quokkas. Couldn’t find any until we got back to the settlement though. It’s sunny there so make sure to stay hydrated.
Well worth a visit when in Perth. Spent the entire day cycling and stopping for photos - make sure you cover up and bring plenty of water!
Exit Fremantle Station and walk right across the railway to reach the ticket exchange location at Shed B. After disembarking, remember to take your ticket stub to get your bicycle and helmet. You must have enough physical strength to go around the entire island. Quokka can be found in the visitor center area. If you want to spot them while riding your bike, remember to search for them under the trees.
great day out. easy to use pass and once you arrive at the island, make sure to visit the visitors centre for some guidance.
