Jiufen Red Lantern Blessing Experience Ticket

Jiufen is one of the best place to visit when you’re in Taiwan. It reminds me of the Ghibli Movie Spirited Away. Aside from the breathtaking view from the mountain this place has a lot to offer from food, souvenirs, clothes and a lot more. if you’re a first timer like me I highly suggest that you avail the tour package. it’s very convenient and saves a lot of money and time. Also the vendors here are very generous they will let you taste their food products for free. But sadly we didn’t have the time to try the famous A-mei’s Tea House due to lack of time.

When I first visited Jiufen Old Street, I saw other people holding lanterns with calligraphy characters that read Jiufen, and I felt that it was very special. After researching online, I found out that they were sold on KLOOK and could be redeemed at the Jiufen Wuli Joint Office. There are four colors to choose from on site, so I chose an orange lantern and prayed for my family's health and peace and happiness for the year. I also wrote my New Year's wishes on a votive tablet, hoping that they would come true. There were many people's votive tablets hanging on the prayer wall, and combined with the lantern decorations around it, it was really beautiful! Next time, I would like to bring a friend and come back to play again.

I found this cool experience online. Jiufen is crowded on weekend, and if you follow the crowd, you’ll see the famous A-Mei Tea House. The redemption spot is right across from it. The lanterns are beautiful—I picked a blue one to wish for luck at work. It was such an unforgettable experience!

You must visit Jiufen when you come to Taiwan! The red lantern experience here is incredibly fun. There are four colors of lanterns to choose from, and you can even write your own wish card, making it a meaningful and memorable activity.

A place just oposite of A-Mei Tea House. Unfortunately streets are really crowded but beautiful and you can find a really nice views.

It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful and adviced us to open and assemble the lantern at home, because it is really crowded.

This is my first time participating in such a lantern blessing event, and the experience was very special. The design of the wish cards was also very thoughtful. Definitely worth a try!❤️

The lanterns we exchanged were so beautiful! What's more, I'm happy that I can take them home as a memento! Each color has a different meaning for a wish, and the staff was very kind in showing us around. The prayer wall at the temple was also very atmospheric and moving, and it was a really wonderful experience! Every time I look at the lanterns when I get home, I'll remember this wonderful trip to Taiwan!

Our klook tourguide is not aware where to avail this add-on. Fortunately, I was able to locate where we could use the voucher. Location is just few steps from A-Mei Tea House.
