Reviews summaryI really enjoyed the tour with Shu! He was really funny and he shared quite a number of historical facts otw to each attraction. Driver was a really great and fast driver too and both of them were really friendly which made the tour very bearable though it was a long day. 10/10 would recommend👍🏻
We had a great day thanks to Alex(ander) 🙌🏻 he gave us tips where to go and some background information. After a few days “running” trough Tokio by ourselves this was a relaxed day 😂we had enough time on each stop. Highly recommend this trip. 14 people in our group and clear sky.
Fantastic trip, guide was attentive to everyone's needs. He was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The 5 locations were picture perfect. The views were incredible, certainly a fantastic spin on the standard Mt Fuji tour. We were taken to spots that we didn't know existed. The locations were like something out of a Ghibili movie. Definitely worth every yen paid. Highly recommend. Completely stress free tour. Things to know: wear comfortable shoes as there are many stairs to climb for that picture perfect view and have cash for the restaurant, at least 10'000yen.
Our experience with Penguin was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of enthusiasm. penguin made the tour not just informative but also incredibly fun, sharing fascinating stories and insights that we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else.
very well thought out iternerary. overall it was an enjoyable and fun day visiting all the different areas around Mount Fuji. although the sky wasn’t clear enough to see it, we had a great time exploring the surrounding areas and took many great photos. thank you to guide Mike for leading this tour too
We went as family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids and 1 elderly) and this tour was well worth the money spent. Wanting was the name of our tour guide and she was very informative and helpful throughout the entire day. We enjoyed this tour because of her. She made it fun by telling us facts and stories of Mt Fuji. Thank you for a good tour of Mt Fuji.
I had an amazing experience on the Mount Fuji tour! Everything was well-organized, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Our tour guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining the history and significance of the places we visited. I learned a lot and had a great time throughout the whole trip. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan. It’s a must-do!
We were blessed to have perfect weather on this amazing tour, with our equally amazing tour guide, Peter. He was affable and entertaining, and provided great stories and tips about the sites we were visiting. This was truly one of the best day tours I've booked. Mt. Fuji is stunning from every possible angle.
this was an ideal day trip to Fuji! i spent a lot of time looking at options but this one hit every stop with ample amount of time at each stop. Peter was an excellent tour guide full of energy and also a great photographer for a solo traveler like me! it was informative and easy going. i was confused by the meeting spot only because i got there early, but if you arrive within 10 mins of the bus time, the guide will be there with the flag. We got really lucky with a clear day and i would do this over tenfold!
This was my first tour and I loved it! The meeting place was easy to find, and the tour guide was there on time. We left at 8:19am - everyone was on the bus. PETER was our tour guide. He did an amazing job - he was informative, very engaging, enthusiastic about what he did and his instructions were very clear. THANKS FOR AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE, PETER!!! 🙌🏽 We were so lucky on this tour because the sun was out and the skies were clear, so it was an amazing experience. We went to all attractions that were listed: 1. Japanese Traditional Village (Saiko Iyashi Sato Nenba), 2. Oishi Park and Lake Kawaguchi, 3. Oshino Hakkai, 4. Arakura Sengen Shrine. Everything was great, but I think we could spend more time at Oishi Park and Lake Kawaguchi, especially if you join the long line for their ice cream. Otherwise, it was all good - you just need to be fast and manage your time well. The bus was clean and comfortable - the driver did great and there wasn’t any traffic. We arrived to the first attraction around 10am and left the final attraction at 4:10pm, arriving back to Shinjuku just before 5:50pm. I highly recommend this tour - you won’t be disappointed!
