The tour guide Shark contacted us the day before and explained the precautions and estimated pick-up time. It was unexpectedly on time. This is very different from the previous one-day tours in other countries. After arriving at Mermaid Island, the entire activity will be The timetable and items are explained so that we can know exactly how to prepare. After all, we need to change into snorkeling suits when going out to sea, change clothes to take beautiful photos, and keep applying sunscreen. It is really easier to control if we have time. Although the weather was not good and everyone vomited, it was a great experience.

It's a must trip, the island is so beautiful with white sand beach and slightly calm water (depens on the weather), and the kawa river cruise is a once in a lifetime experience where you can see the proboscis monkey in their habitat, lots of long tail monkey, and monitor lizard, and at night you could see lots of fireflies on trees, just like christmas trees

The CP value is very high. You can go to Mermaid Island for snorkeling and see a lot of fish and fireflies. It is really exciting.

It was a good experience, especially the tour guides Michael and Xiao Zhang. They were very energetic and enthusiastic, which added a lot to the whole trip. Highly recommended.

2025/01/08 Four mothers and three children participated in the "Mermaid Island Snorkeling + Mangrove Proboscis Monkey Fireflies One-Day Trip". The tour guide Xiao Zhang (Xiao Hei) took great care of us and introduced Asia during the trip. The history and culture were explained, the mangrove ecology was explained, and a lot of proboscis monkeys were seen. Even though there was a sudden heavy rain at night, the tour guide (Xiao Zhang) still actively accompanied us to look for fireflies. The itinerary was rich throughout the day, and both adults and children loved it 👍There is a professional tour guide Leading everyone to make the entire trip more interesting and satisfying😀

The water is clear and the sand is beautiful, the snorkeling experience is very good, the proboscis monkeys are not enough, the firefly experience is very good, the meals are okay, the tour guide is very good, and he follows the whole process

The island is quite nice, beautiful and serene, but can see certain area piled with debris. The restaurant is cosy while the food is reasonable. Live seafood is worth the price though the cooking style may not fully to our preference. Overall, it's a nice experience for friends to travel together.

The sea was very clear and clean, and we could see a lot of fish even while snorkeling. I think it's a good idea to bring drinking water and a towel. If you get motion sickness easily, I recommend taking motion sickness medicine beforehand. It's a good idea to bring sunscreen and insect repellent.
