just show klook voucher. wildlife park is of a different level to regular zoo. buy food before entering to feed the animals inside. we wanted to feed the wallabies but they were too full. just ignored us. 😮‍💨 other than that, the ducks follow us around. saw 2 kiwis. so happy about that. do drop by. its an experience.
Seamless redemption of tickets as we booked just the day before. We only spent approximately 2 hours to see wildlife as we are limited by our schedule. Could have spent longer to interact more with wildlife. We encountered the wildlife we came to see and it didn't disappointment. Definitely worth the visit while in Christchurch.
We had a wonderful day. The weather at the end of February was perfect. This wildlife reserve has done an amazing job laying out a pathway that is easy and safe. We enjoyed the animals and the feedings. The workers were wonderful, helpful, and informative. Our lunch of sandwiches and salad were all tasty. Our favorite animals were the birds. The Kiwi, Kia, and the weka were active and fun to watch. Thanks for a wonderful day.
Very interactive with lots of wildlife to interact with. The animals are clearly well loved and taken great care of.
great array of wildlife, could not find the kiwis in the dark though. got to see the kea parrot and fed the goats and cows.
A lovely wildlife park about 15–20 minutes from the city centre. It’s not a massive zoo, but it’s very interactive; you can buy feed at the entrance and get up close with farm animals and birds. Most of the animals are wonderful, though a few seemed a bit lethargic, possibly due to the smaller enclosure sizes. A highlight was the kiwi area (housed in a nocturnal gallery where you must stay quiet and put cameras away) — the birds are incredibly cute! This zoo is a good spot if you have some spare time in Christchurch.
This was so much better than expected! I'm not generally thrilled about walking around to see animals but this little reserve was well designed and the animals seem well cared for. The highlight is the large kiwi enclosure where I saw 3 kiwis after letting my eyes adjust to the darkness.
You can get up close to many animals, they also sell feed to feed them, and there are kiwis to see. It's a very worthwhile place to visit.
