DMZ 2nd Tunnel, Pocheon Sky Bridge & Waterfall Tour from Seoul
- Explore the 2nd tunnel which is accessible to nearest Southern limit line
- A professional guide, transfers, admission and private option are included
- Observe Hantangang UNESCO Global Geopark from Hantan River Sky Bridge
What to expect
The 2nd Tunnel, discovered 13 km north of Cheorwon within the DMZ on March 19, 1975, poses a potential threat, as 30,000 armed troops could infiltrate in an hour with vehicles, artillery, and tanks. Experience the striking contrast between lush greenery near South Korea's Guard Posts and General Out Posts, and North Korea's Guard Posts, Naktagoji, and Kim Ilsung goji.
The Sky Bridge (suspension bridge), featured in beloved dramas like Crash Landing on You and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, is more than just a cinematic icon; it’s your gateway to the breathtaking views of Hantangang Geopark.
Bidulginang Falls The name “Bidulginang” comes from the Korean word “nang,” meaning “nest,” inspired by the hundreds of white doves that once nested in a cave behind the waterfall.

Reviews
The tour was very memorable because we were able to visit the third tunnel and got so near to North Korea which was a unique experience. Everything was smooth from the bus ride to every visiting stops points until the end. Our tour guide Kenny was incredible: he was very attentive, detailed in his explanations and funny. I recommend this tour for everyone!
Shin is a very good guide who is very informative about the attractions we are visiting, and good controller of time. Mr Kim is a very good driver as well, and the rides are comfortable. Highly recommend!
That was a cloudy and sometimes a bit rainy day. But we have got more than gloomy weather, such as well-arranged route, unique experience to the 2nd tunnel and the Hantan River, a sudden glance at the beautiful crane, a delicious Korean Military Stew lunch at Chewron, and a happy trip with Shin. He is not very extrovert, but rather sincere, reliable and professional. Recommended, yes!
We had a great trip with Winnie and our driver. The trip was very interesting and Winnie was very informative about Korean history and culture. This trip is more than just quick there and back for the DMZ with additional experiences included in the price. Highly recommended.
fantastic experience! Leo guided us meticulously, telling us every detail with enthusiasm and emotion. During the 2-hour journey he explained the history of Korea, the war and the division of the nation. We went through a tunnel of the DMZ, saw the destroyed railway and from the observatory we even saw the North Korean military. The nature part was also fantastic: the suspension bridge, walking on the water. I come back tired but satisfied. thanks Leo for this magnificent day!!
It was really fun‼️‼️‼️It's a memory I'll never forget☺️I'm glad I chose the second tunnel instead of the more popular third tunnel. It may be a minor one, but it's not crowded and you can go 500m inside the tunnel, so it was a lot of fun. The museum only had signs in English and Korean, so I'm really glad I asked for a Japanese guide. After that, we went to the observation deck where you can see North Korea. It was a clear day, and I was able to clearly see the North Korean village and flag. You can also take photos! At the site where the station built by Japan was relocated long ago, you can see a locomotive pierced by a bullet, and you can feel the rawness of the war. You can also see the Korean Labor Office building. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly! At the Geopark, you can cross a bridge over a frozen river. This is a view that you can only see in winter, and it seems that the route is different in summer. Pak Chan, the guide, was also great. He gave us a very detailed explanation of the history in the car on the way there. I was grateful that he left us enough time to buy souvenirs and use the toilet. He planned our sightseeing efficiently and satisfactorily, whether it was the second tunnel or the observation deck. Thank you for the most fun tour! See you again at the 3rd Tunnel ☺️ Best wishes!!!!
We had an awsome experince. The guide (Sander) was informative and very happy to chat about not only the tour we were on but also his perception of Korea in general. We also had a very good and very kind driver who helped to give us the VIP experince as the only guest in the tour for the day. The tour was Great because we avoided all the other tourist by going to the 2nd tunnel and still got a very full experince. The observatory was interesting and we still got to see a Noth Korean Soilder despite the cloudiest of days. The river portion of the tour blew us away and was truly magical. We are so glad we chose this tour ! If your on the fence about tunnel 2 or 3, try two and avoid the crowds !
Our guide Leo gave reminders the day before on the meeting time and place, and provided excellent commentary throughout the trip. Was pleasantly surprised to see many cranes in the wild as the bus travelled across the rice fields. The highlight were (1) entering the 2nd tunnel where we had to wear helmets to protect our heads from the low ceiling, (2) seeing the DMZ up close through the digital telescope, (3) the walk on the glass sky bridge and directly on the river to admire the lava formed cliffs. Overall very enjoyable and didn't feel too crowded with tourists. Lunch was at a cultural area where there was a selection of 3 korean eateries - the toufu stew and cold noodles were delicious!
The pacing is perfect. I expected a lot of exhaustive walks, but actually we got proper rests between attractions. I end up more energizing after the tour. Leo (利奧) is a very good and friendly guide that have good knowledge of the places. Although the tour is in English, he can speak in Mandarin too. I highly recommend Leo. Japanese tour would be by another guide, who's a nice person too. If you want to learn more about DMZ from them, remember to get good rest the night before so as not to sleep through the morning bus journey. And there's no need to eat before tour as they will drop by a visitor center where you can buy snacks, cup food and coffee (self-paid). The tunnel is a bit chilling, so grab a jacket before entering. You can take pictures, unlike the 3rd tunnel. You can observe the border and North Korean territory from Peace Observatory. The scenery is amazing. If lucky, you can see cranes too. Lunch was included. The food was good. A good opportunity to try out Northern food. Hantan river is a nice place, another place to take tons of good pictures. Weather is important so choose your season to go wisely. An excellent tour in general. Worth every penny. The only problem I can think of is that the Korean Workers' Party Headquarters is under construction, which I already knew before enrolling and was very satisfied regardless.
Shin is a nice and professional tour guide. He told us the history story of Korea and DMZ zone that we have learnt a lot. I highly recommend for those who want to visit the unique and beautiful side of Korea.
