It was a great experience. I booked 3 months in advance for a particular train time and Klook notified me in advance that it was cancelled. I rebooked for that same day with a different time. Taking my first solo trip, I used the KTX for a round trip between Seoul and Busan. I was nervous about booking tickets, but I felt relieved knowing I could easily book them on Klook. The fact that there was no need to exchange for a physical ticket was also a huge plus. Ultimately, no one checked the reservation QR code on board either. The travel time varies quite a bit depending on the train, so definitely check that out carefully. Both Busan Station and Seoul Station have plenty of restaurants and cafes, plus plenty of benches in the waiting areas, so waiting around wasn't a hassle at all. The departure track is usually displayed on the electronic board about 15 minutes before departure, so you just head over accordingly. First-class seats are arranged in a 1-and-2 configuration, so if you are traveling alone, I recommend booking the single-seat side. There is as much legroom as a reserved seat on a bullet train, so you can place your suitcase there, and the seats themselves are spacious, plush, and comfortable. There are also power outlets (type C or SE) so you can charge your smartphone. Thanks to the easy-to-understand station signage, even someone with no sense of direction like me was able to use it without getting lost.
