We are Americans who stayed there during the Paris heat wave of temperatures over 100. There is no air conditioning and I realize that most of Paris doesn’t have air conditioning, but I was disappointed that there was no plan. Our room had one window that barely opened and we were given one floor fan. The hotel should have a better plan for high temperatures. Like give us multiple floor fans or something. It ended up being hotter in the room than outside. There was no shelf in the shower. Where are we supposed to set our soap and shampoo? A small refrigerator in the room would have gone a long way. If the temperatures weren’t so high, it would have been a whole different situation. It’s a great location.

Great
The site works as what it is. For this single traveler waiting on a train elsewhere in France it worked well

Really nice place, but the showers had tiny worms and almost no ventilation, which made it super stuffy.

Good

The room was very clean and there was enough space for a family of four. The bunk beds were great. Nonetheless, this wasn't quite what I was expecting given the price. It was more like a dorm room than a hotel room, and much of the hotel is actually for backpackers accommodations. The window mechanism was broken, so we couldn't open the window, and there was almost no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shower is on some sort of water-conserving setting so it automatically turns off every 30 seconds. I just didn't care for it. The TV had no channels that we could access. Positives: easy walking distance to a metro station and to Gare de Lyon. Close to Bastille area. Restaurants nearby. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, which we only used to get an evening drink. The staff were friendly and helpful at the bar. Overall, this hotel just wasn't really for us, but it is nonetheless a nice place and convenient.

They do not have daily cleaning for rooms and they clean when there is no guest in the room. So you may get checked in a dirty room. Soap container is empty No body wash and shampoo is available. You have to but your own towel. For luggage drop off you have to pay….

Fantastic

Great location! Staff was great and very helpful. Rooms were clean but bathrooms needed more daily maintenance. No fans were offered during heatwave. I stayed at another hostel and the fan was a blessing.

Great location and bar with a/c during heatwave. Staff was very helpful although one person told me my friend wasn’t booked there when he actually was. Toilets were closed down on multiple floors in the evening.

Super Hot in the dorm rooms … one guy was snoring like he was gona die … couldn’t sleep because of the heat & the snoring … the breakfast wasn’t very not very good with not much selections … mostly only breads … the server behind the counter was very unfriendly & acted like I was bothering him when asked if there was anymore food because they didn’t replace anything … when I could see fresh trays of food sitting behind him … there was 2 crusty pieces of quiche … left & it wasn’t very edible looking … I asked if they where going to refill the quiche & he said no … then as I was about to leave … after having a coffee & croisant … he put out the new quiche & some other fresh foods … it was not a good experience at all
