Stayed with partner

Most HORRIFIC hotel ever!! DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not safe!! Doors don't lock properly, people shouting all hours of the night, people pounding on doors all night, someone tried to open our door at night. Homeless people in the parking lot. The pics are not current and very deceiving! No cancellation or refunds on purpose because no one would stay here! The other "patrons" we saw looked like they were one step away from homeless themselves. Front desk employees were horrible. Laughed when we complained. Called us racist and came around the desk and threatened us when we asked for them to cancel the rest of the stay and refund the rest of the nights. Called 911, they told us to call a diff number. That guy rattled off another number so fast we couldn't get it and then hung up without another word. Tried to call it back and it just goes to voicemail so police were no help. We checked in about 10:30pm or we would have left immediately. Decided to try one night since it was nearly midnight our time and had no other place to go and relying on public transit. It was horrible. Ended up propping the chair against the door and hiding under the blankets with a pillow over my head praying no one could get in. Slept maybe 90 mins the whole night out of pure exhaustion. Pics on hotels.com are not current or real even. I will upload real photos if I can. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU LOSE!

Stayed with friends · For friends and family

I will never stay again even if for free. Place is very sketchy. Phone wasn't working no remote for the tv. One window didnt have a lock. When I told the manager about the window, he said, oh we don't lock this one just incase you forget or lose your key we come in through this window. I wasn't ok with that, so he said ok i will be right back. He brought a drill and lock to place on the window. Only reason I stayed was because due to traffic I was already running late for an event that I needed to get ready for. Oh also very limited parking so people park right behind each other. So if you're in the front and theres someone behind you you have to go and look for who's behind you so they can move their car so you can get out.

Solo stay

Parking and proximity to the Padres game is the best thing about this property. The smell was very off putting. Definitely needs a scent, it was an annoying Bleach plus Insect spray in the air. The internet password does not work. The Air condition needs conditioning. It’s a nice room if you just need to put your stuff in a room while you’re downtown and want to sleep for an hour or two. I could open the door from the bed… so it’s not the best. 3/10 for me

The staff working was extremely helpful and friendly. That being said, you get what you pay for, do with that what you will. I will speak on the Parking which Is not good, there is a public lot next door, but you have to pay. Probably not the best spot for Families, but solo Travelers looking for a cheap place to sleep for the night, this will do the job. If it was 5 stars, you'd pay 5 star prices.
