The King room with Diamondhead view was very small and the view was pretty limited. The hotel needs a serious interior refresh. The staff were pleasant and the room, not withstanding its limited size, was very clean.

Rooms were clean. Staff was good. Would have been nice to have beach chairs, towels, etc. to enjoy the ocean.

Fantastic

We stayed in a queen, ocean view room and we had an amazing view of Waikiki Beach. We also were able to see the momma monk seal who had her baby on the beach. Initially we were disappointed that the beach was closed, but it was amazing to watch them throughout our stay. We struggled to get in at dinner without reservations, but we did have a drink at the bar. There is no coffee in the rooms, but there is a convenience store at the end of the parking lot. We didn't know there wasn't free parking available for hotel guests, it was $50 a night for valet parking, or on street parking with free parking from 6pm to 10am. This worked well for us.

This hotel is amazing. They have everything - iron, coffee maker, towels, water, anything you need. It’s quiet, because it’s not in the center of a noisy Waikīkī. It’s beautiful, it’s comfortable. If only the sink could be inside of the bathroom and not outside it - would be the best. Cleaning everyday was great, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view with beach, historic Natatorium and Diamond Head view. Balcony furniture was old and unmatched. The staff was awesome.

Fantastic
Beautiful views and wonderful location! The mother & baby Monk Seal were below on the beach so thankfully the hotel had access for us at another beach. Everyone is so helpful and the property has the delicious Hau Tree Restaurant right at the beach.

Checked in for a local staycation - a couple of items to should of advertised prior to booking my stay, there main restaurant was closed due to a private event which also meant the kitchen would be closed for room service. The beach access in front of the hotel was closed due to sea monk activity, which was not an issue but perhaps that info could have been posted on the hotel website? Lastly the room had some issues, the tub was dirty and the drain was not working properly, the AC did not work nor did it turn on, it was an uncomfortable stay with the room being warm. I also did not receive the sparking wine that my Expedia silver status promised. Overall, will not stay at this hotel again.

The staff was great but the room had a few issues: - To get to the second floor we had to go up stairs. No elevator. So all our luggage has to be carried up the flight - all 150 lbs of it - We killed about two cockroaches each night. They were either in the sink or bathroom floor - The beach in front of the hotel was closed. It was roped off which was the main selling point of the hotel - We pre-paid for breakfast but it doesn’t open till 8:30 am which is too late for all our activities and tours so we ended up eating out anyway
