The room was clean every day, perfect enclosed restaurants food, of course, you have to make the appointments. We took three days Xtra. The beach with the sargassum, which I think is a natural thing that no hotel can do anything about. Overall, good vacation.

Food was great, the servers at the buffet and cleaning crew were amazing. What was not good is that specialty dining was not available for 2 out of 3 nights for us, but for other people it was. So, don't pay for Platinum, because that is not a guarantee.

I upgraded to the platinum riviera pool room and loved it. I was originally in the swim out room and I didn’t like how the loungers were right across looking into my room. I feel like all the rooms should have a designated place to dry wet clothes. The food was ok and I suggest you book your reservations ASAP because they fill up unless you just go to the buffet. Diana in the platinum riviera was awesome and made my birthday really special!

Too many children in the private pool at platinum plus consider adults only. When attending restaurants of platinum plus members additional cost (Wine) should be specified prior to ordering. Exceptional maid and shuttle service.

Solo stay

If you are with your family this is the spot for you! If you are a solo traveler this place may not be! I found that the food is catered towards children. The app to make reservations is constantly malfunctioning and the internet is pretty reliable but not completely. There is not enough sun coverage by the pool causing people to fight for spots or for people trying to get relief from the sun to abandon reasonable spacing between parties. Folks are up putting towels down as early at 6am. That creates unnecessary stress because you have to leave personal items to ensure seating but you also can’t fully trust others will always respect it. If you are traveling with your family I think this is the perfect spot! LOTS to do for the whole family. I would recommend for families but not solo travelers
