We had a great morning with Lisbeth. The trip was exactly as we had hoped. Lisbeth is extremely knowledgeable about Mexican history and current events.

I also went on a tour of Teotihuacan in Mexico! This tour was a huge success, thanks to our guide, Ara. The magnificent pyramids were impressive, but what made the tour truly enjoyable for both my eyes and ears was how beautiful and kind Ara was. 🥰 Her explanations of the ancient civilization were incredibly clear and engaging, but what touched me most was her photography skills! She expertly found the best spots where the pyramids were perfectly framed and took amazing, once-in-a-lifetime photos for us. After the tour, I was genuinely moved to find that Ara had even thoughtfully created beautiful commemorative photos (life-shot photos) for us. For anyone planning to visit Teotihuacan, I wholeheartedly recommend Ara as your guide!

This was a fantastic activity, and you can go alone without any worries! :) The English-speaking tour guide's English proficiency was good, so you can communicate with them in English! However, you might want to calculate which option is more cost-effective, because you can still get an all-you-can-eat lunch (it seems a bit cheaper if you pay on-site), so I suggest you don't specifically choose the all-you-can-eat option! Also, if you do choose all-you-can-eat, make sure to tell them at checkout on the day that you're part of the all-you-can-eat group (they'll give you a paper wristband), and then you won't have to pay! The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was the wine experience; it felt like they just dropped you off at the souvenir shop, and of course, you don't have to buy anything. 😂

Patricia was an excellent tour guide — very knowledgeable, engaging, and she created a fun atmosphere throughout the trip. Jesus was also a great driver: smooth driving and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. There were a few extra sales stops/optional shopping activities, but they didn’t significantly affect the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend booking a tour here!

An unforgettable experience thanks to our guide, Alexa! Energetic, funny, and incredibly well-organized. She kept us engaged the entire time and shared fantastic local restaurant recommendations. 10/10 service! It would be much much better if the tour includes pick up at hotel!

Alicia was wonderful! She was really able to bring to life the histories of the Aztecs, Teotihuacan, and the Mayans.

What to know before visiting Mexico City

Quick snapshot of Mexico City’s visitor draw

Mexico City’s Klook bookings are driven by museums, tours and historical sites, with steady interest in events and water activities. Demand rises and falls through the year, peaking in July and dipping around August and September, so the city cycles between busy cultural months and quieter periods.

Best times to visit and how prices move

Klook data shows demand peaks in July and reaches a low point in August, with another soft period into September. Prices move differently: according to Klook bookings, July is typically the cheapest month for activities while January is typically the priciest, and prices gradually rise toward the year’s start. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for August–September when demand is down and prices remain relatively low; for the peak-season atmosphere and the busiest cultural calendar, July delivers that energy despite being one of the cheaper months on Klook. Overall, demand and price diverge around mid-year—July is busy but typically inexpensive on Klook, while the highest prices tend to appear at the turn of the year.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most travellers from Malaysia on Klook book activities about five days ahead, with some booking as late as a day or two before travel and others planning up to a couple of weeks in advance. If your trip is flexible you can often secure museum visits or tours a few days out, but for popular experiences in July consider booking earlier to lock in options. Use Klook to compare timings and availability so you can plan the right mix of spontaneous and pre-booked activities.
