It was a nice and decent hotel and with sufficient space. It's close to restaurants and even tourist spots. It was also good that there's a 7-11 across the hotel since we arrived late night from the airport and there are no longer restos open nearby. We also enjoyed the colorful houses and murals around the area. The staff was also nice and accommodating. Overall, it was a good short stay.

This was my first time staying at a budget hotel and I would never have guessed that this was a 2-star hotel. The staff were really friendly, the room size was more than enough for 1 pax (maybe even 2) and it was really clean. My only gripes were spotty wifi connection and that I couldn't watch anything on the tv because every channel was grainy. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Great value for money and a convenient place to stay! It's within walking distance of the famous Peranakan Houses and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés worth trying, making it a great base for exploring Joo Chiat. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin—you can hear noise from neighboring rooms, even phone vibrations—and the air conditioner can be a bit noisy. Overall, I'd still recommend it for its location and affordability.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Singapore Joo Chiat and overall, it was a nice and comfortable experience. The hotel has a very unique and colorful design that really stands out. It feels fun and cozy, not the usual plain hotel vibe. The room was on the smaller side, but it was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to, which made check-in and any questions hassle-free. I also really liked the location—Joo Chiat has lots of good food spots and cafés nearby, so it was easy to just walk around and explore. Overall, it’s a simple but pleasant place to stay, especially if you want something affordable, clean, and in a good neighborhood.
