Our favorite place to stay in SB. perfect location, clean, and great staff. The hotel was remodeled and looks incredible. The only downside is the bed pillows. They were too stiff and made it difficult for my wife and I to sleep. We told the front dest and they delivered softer pillows to the room. Apparently they have gotten many complaints about the pillows, so hopefully they will just replace them all.

It was centraly located on state st . There is a great restaurant kinda old timey right across the street. It’s called joes and it’s open early and late. They have way to tip the cleaning crew but not the valet. But overall it was really nice place to stay

Beautiful old hotel, but management actively intruded on our enjoyment. State St is not the great shopping and dining experience it was in the past. Won't return.
