Pros
- Close to Minowa Station, 7/11, a 24/7 supermarket, Yoshinoya, and Matsuya. Super convenient!
- The staff are very nice (especially Nicole!)
- You can leave your luggage free of charge
- The cleanest shared bathroom I’ve ever experienced
- Comfortable bed
- Towels are changed regularly
Cons
- Limited space; there’s no storage for clothes
- The sink in the room has weak water pressure
Overall, it’s worth every penny.

We love our stay here. It’s about 5mins walk from Minowa Station. The room is clean and even it’s a shared bathroom, we didnt have a problem at all.

Room is a bit small but it is expected in Japan. It is clean. The bed is larger than what we expected. Bathroom and toilet are also clean. Towels are provided. If they can also provide a pajamas, that would be perfect.

Overall great place to stay. The staff was very nice, and always trying their best to give us the best stay possible. The rooms were a bit small, but with the shared areas this was no problem.
Using the H-line, the hostel is only 2 minutes away from Ueno, and with a few more minutes you can easily get to the city centre.
The place was very clean, we got new and clean towels every day, and the bed was quite big.

Great place ❤️ Good location, was able to walk from here to Asakusa Shrine ⛩️ Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. There was also a Luup bike/scooter rental by the front. I had a great stay and would definitely come back next time 🫰

We had a great stay at Ohwa Hostel. It's conveniently located near the subway, which was very helpful since we purchased the unlimited subway pass. The hostel is very clean and feels new. The shower room is spotless, and everything you need is provided. It doesn’t feel like a hostel at all—it felt more like a real hotel. Towels and disposable amenities are replaced daily. They also provide a passcode for the room, so there's no need to worry about losing a keycard. Definitely a 10/10 stay!
