Breakfast was a full hot bfast and the coffee was pretty good even offering oatmilk along with cream. The selection of convenience items for purchase near the front entrance was a little limited in drinks but they did have snacks. Staff was friendly, the hotel was very busy and bfast was packed with people, seating was taken up quickly. The walk to the subway was 12min and the area at the subway entrance was a little sketchy, recommend stick to uber at this location, otherwise decent stay

Loved this hotel! Location is perfect. Only change I would recommend is to have better signage and information about the shuttle to the train. This is an awesome service that should be advertised better. I happened to see it posted in one elevator but not in all and there was no information about the shuttle in the room. Also, the thermostat did not work well. The room would not cool down even when I lowered the thermostat. Overall great hotel!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is tiny. I expect that in Manhattan, but it really is quite cramped for the price we paid - especially since our window view is a brick wall. Room is basically 2 beds with a desk and tv and very little room to move. The beds are very uncomfortable. The mattresses are old-school, with hard, poke-y metal coils that jab you in the ribs when you try to get comfortable, and your body sinks into the bed in all the wrong places. The coils and wood creaks and cracks loudly when you roll over at night. The washroom is quite small with a miniature sized sink. The water temperature in the shower was not consistent - went back and forth from hot to cold and hot and cold.

This hotel is a complete scam. They charged me a $100 security deposit, and it’s been two weeks since I checked out, but they still haven’t refunded it. I contacted Hotels.com for help, but the hotel is completely ignoring their messages too, so Hotels.com said there's nothing they can do. If you book this hotel, you should just expect to lose an extra $100. On top of that, the surrounding area is incredibly dirty and sketchy. In the end, I wound up paying $500 CAD for this absolute garbage of a hotel. I have never encountered such a fraudulent hotel in my entire life.

Although slightly out of it on Long Island City it was very easy to get into Manhattan. The hotel had everything you needed and there were plenty of fast food options when you got off the subway back to hotel. The only issue we found was when there was a problem with subway you were a bit stuck as it was only one line. If it is your first visit stay in Manhattan.
