our stay was awesome but I won’t give 5 stars because it took us for about an hour before we managed to checked-in. i booked this a week ago and already paid via klook for the reservation, check-in was at 3pm, but when we got there it was even around 3:10pm but the front desk said our room wasn’t prepared yet. it wasn’t really great for us because we have two kids with us and both were so eager to check-in already. actually prepping the room wasn’t entirely the issue, but the front desk cant look up my reservation on their system—i had to give her my klook voucher and i thought maybe it wasnt prepared because my reservation didnt appear on their system. or something like that. the room i booked was a deluxe king room with balcony

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao. The hotel has a beautiful beachfront setting, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The pool and garden areas were well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, one area for improvement would be guest assistance with luggage. There was no ramp available on the second floor, and no staff assisted us in carrying our heavy baggage to our room, which was quite inconvenient. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the hotel for its excellent location and relaxing ambiance.
