Hotels near Nintendo Development Center

This was our first time staying on the other side of Kyoto Station. Toji subway station is right next door, just a 3-minute walk to Aeon Mall. Kyoto Station is only a 7-8 minute walk away. It's not as bustling as in front of the station, but we really enjoyed the tranquility. OMO never disappoints. We really enjoyed the time drinking tea in the evening.

The location is a bit far from the downtown area, but the room rate is very low so it's understandable. The cleanliness could be improved, but everything else is pretty good. The downstairs self-service shop has a wide variety of food that is also very tasty.

The location is a bit far from the downtown area, but there's an AEON Mall to browse, which also has a supermarket for shopping. It also has Muji and Uniqlo, which is more than enough for travelers.

absolutely lovely place to stay in for a number of nights, communal baths are really good, staff are friendly and rooms tidy. Wi-Fi stable connection. everything really good

They provide excellent service and answer any questions you have. They were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! It's close to many places, and you can walk to the tori.

Great centrally located hotel! Very clean and good amenities. Staff was great during check in but ever other action felt as though I was unconvincing them but it didn't take away from our stay.

probably the best room we stayed in for the whole trip but sadly it was only for one night. Will highly recommded it for anybody coming to Kyoto

The room was smaller than I expected, but it felt like a safe and cozy space for my solo trip. The entire space has a Muji-like style. It has everything I needed. The only thing is that the refrigerator doesn't have a freezer function, but that's okay. The room has a wooden and off-white decor, and the natural light is excellent during the day. The sunlight shines through the white lace curtains, giving the whole space a warm feeling. So, the space doesn't need to be too big, but comfort, cleanliness, and warmth are necessary conditions for a good stay. The breakfast was super delicious! Super delicious! Super delicious! There aren't many varieties, but everything was super delicious. Every morning I ate to my heart's content. Rice, sashimi, warabi mochi, chocolate, miso soup... ah, I miss it so much. The bed was very comfortable, the comforter material was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were great too, but it seemed like the pillow was changed on my last day staying here (?). In short, except for the weird pillow on the last day, everything else was great. The location is about a 3-minute walk from the Hachijo West Exit of Kyoto Station, which is very convenient, and there is a 7-11 nearby. The only thing to mention is the air conditioner in the room. It makes a loud noise after being on for a long time, and the air conditioner is quite dirty and should be cleaned. This needs to be improved, but since I wear earplugs when I sleep, it doesn't affect me much. I would still choose this hotel next time.
