Hotels near Ritsurin Park

Located a somewhat inconvenient 20-minute walk from Takamatsu Station, or a 7-8 minute walk after a one-stop train ride. This hotel isn't really geared towards tourists, but rather is a typical business hotel for Japanese business travelers or group tours (sports teams). The staff at the front desk are mostly middle-aged, so communication beyond basic English is difficult, and they don't provide detailed information about the hotel. They offer free curry, udon, or rice bowls in the evening. You'll need to grab your own gowns, conditioner, and razors from the right side of the desk. The location is a bit awkward, but I'm willing to stay at this hotel again. First of all, the price is unbeatable, and there are many great udon restaurants, izakayas, and other good places around the nearby station. And one train stop is nothing to worry about.

The hotel is conveniently located on top of a lively shopping street, making it easy to find a place to eat even when returning late. We stayed in a standard twin room, which had plenty of space for our family of two adults and one child. We drove, and parking was JPY 1,200 per night.

I stayed one night at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Takamatsu. Its location near JR Takamatsu Station and the shopping district made it convenient for transportation and shopping. The room was generally clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, making my stay comfortable. However, I noticed a faint cigarette smell in the non-smoking room I was initially assigned, and upon request to the front desk, the staff very kindly changed my room immediately. Thanks to their quick response, I was able to enjoy my stay. The bedding was cozy and the soundproofing was decent, allowing me to rest comfortably. There were also plenty of bathroom amenities provided. Overall, it was a hotel with high satisfaction for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Takamatsu who wants both accessibility and comfort.

The hotel, renamed KOKO Hotel Takamatsu, is located near Kawaramachi in Takamatsu. It's a 3-minute walk to convenience stores and shopping streets, with many restaurants nearby. It offers convenient functionality while maintaining a quiet atmosphere. The staff is courteous and polite, and most importantly, there's a 24-hour beverage bar on the first floor. Basic water, ice, tea, and sparkling drinks are always available, which is very thoughtful!

It's right next to Daikoku Drug, and the hotel's location is great since it's on the shopping street. Unfortunately, the room is really small, and there's basically no space to open and organize your luggage.🥲

Cozy and comfortable, it feels like home. I love the design of the room, with the bedroom and living room separated, which made for great sleep during the trip. Both adults and children slept soundly.

The room is huge, and the closet space is also very large. You could definitely open three suitcases at the same time!🤣 There's also a table and several chairs, so you can buy some food and fruit to bring back and eat at night😊 The bathroom is also very big, and there are soft and firm pillows for comfort. The location is great, with convenience stores and McDonald's downstairs, as well as shopping malls and shopping streets. Famous restaurants are nearby. I highly recommend this hotel!💯

Breakfast: There's a wide selection for breakfast, including yogurt, drinks, coffee, bread, and stir-fried noodles. The food is delicious! Service: Udon noodles are available in the evening (NT$200), as well as beef bowls (free).
