Yu Garden tours

Our tour guide Ms Sun is very good. She explained the history thoroughly to us while we are on our way to the attraction so that we will know the background when we reach the place. The journey was very smooth and the itinerary time was just right. The Driver Mr Fu was very friendly and also gave us some advice on how to take the high-speed rail etc. We had a great time on this trip!

Alana contacts us the day before to provide us with the tour details. Berlin is our tour guide and she is knowledgeable and gives us detailed history of Shanghai. We intend to go to the bund on our own and Berlin is flexible to replace with Xin Tian Din. The view at Shanghai tower allows us to see almost the whole of Shanghai. The local Shanghai products are cheaper to buy at Zhu Jia Jiao water town. The lunch is good with recommendation by Berlin. Berlin treated us to Sheng Jian Bao at water town which is delicious. The boat ride is about 20 min which brings us around the water town. The tour is well planned which caters to the needs of adults and kids.

Visiting Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and Yuyuan Garden was a beautiful journey into Shanghai’s history and culture. Zhujiajiao felt peaceful and charming, with its canals, stone bridges, and traditional houses creating a slow, nostalgic atmosphere. Walking along the waterways, enjoying local snacks, and watching boats glide past was truly relaxing. In contrast, Yuyuan Garden was more vibrant and detailed, showcasing classical Chinese garden design with pavilions, ponds, and intricate rock formations. The surrounding market added excitement with souvenirs and street food. Our tour guide was extremely friendly and generous with knowledge, patiently sharing stories and cultural insights that made the experience even more meaningful and memorable.

We have enjoyed the trip to Yu Garden, Zhujiajiao and the bund. Our Tour guide Jessica is very knowledgeable and have explained the chinese history to us very clearly. She has taken care of our family very well and took beautiful pictures for us.
