Shorenji Temple tours

Such a beautiful and stunning tour during winter! Got lots of photos and tried amazing food. Had an amazing guide, Aileen, was very clear and informative with the itinerary and history. Would definitely recommend and go again! (snow was very soft XD)

The views were unreal and the trip was very worth it. The trip was very relaxed and we didn't feel like we were not rushed on time. The personnel were very professional and top notch. Our guide Yogi was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. Our driver Kaori-san was very cheerful. I would recommend to take this excrusion rather than a do-it-yourself trip to Kamikochi. Everything was hassle free and well worth the price.

Such a great tour with good enthusiastic guide 小Xi and safe Japanese driver. Big coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Everything went well. We were very lucky to have a guide who spoke clearly and gave detailed instructions, information and recommendations both verbally and through WhatsApp. The itinerary was excellent with sufficient time at every stop. The tour is self-guided so we enjoyed the flexibility to do what we want and roam around freely based on the many places suggested by 小Xi who WhatsApp the exact location on Google maps to us. He also provided maps and gave food suggestions. We stayed at Hotel MyStays Kanazawa. Rooms are clean and new but very small. Double bed is also very small for two people. Best to ask for twin beds when booking this tour. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a wide spread of local and continental food. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend this over a day tour to Shirakawago/Takayama.

the tour is super worth it, though there is a little time to explore the shirakawa-go since this is just a day tour. but thank you for this!

We had an amazing one-day trip to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go! From exploring Takayama’s charming morning markets to admiring the postcard-perfect gassho-zukuri houses in Shirakawa-go, every moment was memorable. 🛍️🏡🌾 The scenery was stunning, the food — especially the Hida beef — was delicious, and the cultural experience was rich and peaceful. 🍜🥩🌿 Huge thanks to our guide Mickey for making the day even more special. Highly recommended! 🇯🇵

Very informative , very friendly. Took photos of the 4 of us wherever we asked and he even came into a 7-11 we stopped into to recommend some snacks and help us at the counter! Would highly recommend. The driver was also very friendly!

Ling was our guide and he was a great guide! I had the same tour last summer but our guide wasn’t speaking at all, so Ling is exceptional. He speaks English, Japanese and Chinese. The meeting place was easy to locate, we were given ample time to go around the area and Ling gave us recommendations where to eat and where to go. It was a nice tour in total!

Visited just yesterday, it was wonderful and magical with snow covered the entire place. it's cold but the place itself makes me feel warms thru its beauty. Plan to visit again on different season, fall perhaps.
