chloe was our tour guide. she was excellent. the eiffel tower really is magnificent. if your short on time in paris, the eiffel tower should be a priority. we started the tour at the office of the tour company and walked 2 blocks to the eiffel tower. it was a good walk. we went thru the back area with not much tourists around. once we got to the eiffel tower, it was easy going in. will definitely come back to see the eiffel tower again when they repaint it with a new color.

You can sit on the boat and enjoy the riverside scenery. The Eiffel Tower is beautifully lit up at night. The price is reasonable, and the food tastes normal.

The food was better than expected. The seating arrangement was a bit cramped. After eating, you can go to the bow and stern to take pictures. After a day of walking, it's a good place to relax with dinner. Overall, recommended.

we took the bus from paris to mont st. michel (2.5 hrs with 30 min rest stop). spent 3 hrs at the mont st michel (including lunch), we also went up the abbey. took the bus again back to paris (2.5 hrs with 30 min rest stop). overall the place is very nice and a must see. but the time we spent there is very limited because of the travel time. i think its best to spend the whole day (excluding travel time) at mont st michel so you dont rush the sceneries. we did not get the guided tour option but the guide that was with us in the bus, here name is ROSEO, she explained the itinerary plus a little about the place during the bus ride. she explained it in english and spanish. will definitely book again.

Ana is a great tour guide, her humor and wit added a lot of fun to this short trip. Highly recommend arriving by 9:30 AM, it was past 12:00 PM when we reached the summit… the whole experience takes a very long time.

It was a nice tour! Phoebe toured us around Paris and shared fun facts and info about the tourist attractions. She arrived early on the meet up place. She also took our photos. If you have limited time in the city, this is the best tour to join.

Built for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, the Eiffel Tower remains the most-visited monument in the world, a true masterpiece of art and engineering, erected as a testament to innovation and the French Revolution.

Cultural and Historical Significance

The Eiffel Tower, designed by Gustave Eiffel and his team, was initially met with criticism from France's leading artists and intellectuals. However, it has since become one of the world's most famous landmarks, symbolizing Paris and French ingenuity. Completed in 1889 for the Exposition Universelle, the tower represents the industrial era and has witnessed key historical events, including its strategic role in World War I, when it jammed German radio communications. Recognized as a monument historique in 1964 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, the Eiffel Tower remains a testament to French culture and innovation.

Architectural Marvel

Soaring 330 meters (1,083 feet) high, the Eiffel Tower held the title of the world’s tallest structure until 1930. Designed by Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, its lattice iron structure, consisting of 18,038 metallic parts and 2,500,000 rivets, was engineered to maximize wind resistance. This pioneering design showcases the brilliance of 19th-century architecture and engineering, making the Eiffel Tower a true symbol of innovation.

Local Cuisine

Visitors can savor exquisite French cuisine at the tower’s restaurants, from gourmet dining at Le Jules Verne to enjoying a glass of champagne at the summit. Classic French dishes such as escargot, foie gras, and crème brûlée offer a refined taste of French gastronomy, making a visit to the Eiffel Tower a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
