Korean Folk Village tours

Had such a lovely experience at Hwadamsup 🌸 and Strawberry Picking 🍓 ✨ It was a bit tiring walking up the hill at Hwadamsup, but the beautiful flowers and peaceful surroundings made it all worth it — truly the highlight of the trip. We walked up to enjoy the stunning views, then took the cable car back down just for the experience 🚡 My son was so happy picking strawberries too 🍓🥰 A big thank you to our tour guide Alvin — he’s bilingual and speaks Chinese, English, and Korean so well! He was very informative and made the whole tour even more enjoyable. Also, a shoutout to our friendly driver, thank you for your warmth and making my son smile with a sweet little gift 🫰 Highly recommend this trip to anyone planning to visit Seoul 🇰🇷💖

The favorite part of the itinerary is the Hetan Forest. The Hetan Forest is very beautiful. The guide let us stay in the Hetan Forest for enough time. There is enough time to line up for the park car + go shopping. The ice cream experience is also very good. It is the first time to make ice cream by yourself. The chocolate taste is delicious. It’s very cold in Guangming Cave, so you can bring a thin coat. If you haven’t been there, you can go and see it once. There is not much surprise. The red wine inside is delicious. I want to take it back, but I will give up when I consider consignment. The day is a small group departure. Mr. Si Daonan is a Chinese who can speak Chinese. The six-seater car is very new and wide. The driver has good driving skills and sleeps soundly throughout the journey. The driver takes care of every member of the group throughout the journey, helping us take photos and recommending them. Seoul food, introduction of attractions, thank you for allowing us to have a very pleasant journey.

I think this is the best tour I have had so far in this trip. if you book, ask for Minnie. she’s really knowledgeable and informative, you’ll learn a lot about history of Suwon and South Korea. I definitely recommend Minnie! :)

We just returned to our hotel fron this amazing trip. we enjoyed the trip very much. everything was on time and perfectly organised. Philip was a great tour guide, he shared stories, experiences and took some great pictures from us. This was a small group trip so was nice to meet other people from other countries. (To other fellow travellers, please respect the time that your guide advice you in order to make that the trip works as good as possible, today we thought that our guide was getting in trouble with the police for waiting for our group. Thanks for everything Philip!!!!

it is a great one day itinerary if you are short on time and want to complete a lot of things in one day like myself. The Tour guide shared the in-depth knowledge about the past of South Korea, which contributed a lot in my knowledge. It is always good to know about the history of some place to understand better about its present and relate to it. Glad I made it on the Tour. The ride was very comfortable. The martial art and the folk dance was amazing. I wish to go back and visit Suwon at my own pace someday in future.

One of the best value for money. We had a private van because the other group cancelled. This is only by van, not bus so it was great! We got Hyundai Staria. He gave us ample time on each area!

It was such a pleasant trip! Everything was ontime and met the schedule well. Our guide June was not only directing us to the destinations but also delivering good storytelling about Korea's history. It really feels like an amazing experiential learning. She was also regularly checking the participants' condition since the weather was very hot. Overall the tour was satisfying and worth the price. Thank you Mr Kim for bringing us safely to Korean Folk Village. He texted me two days earlier to confirm the meeting point and he arrived early to pick us from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 10. We arrived Korean Folk Village 30 minutes earlier so the self guided tour started at 10.30 am to 2.00 pm. I'm glad that I was able to catch the performances at 11.30 am and 12.00pm. There are many food stalls so you don't have to worry if you get hungry. This tour really brings us back to the olden days in Korea. The Korean Folk Museum is very interesting as well. You will learn a lot. Do bring an umbrella because it can be quite sunny during the day. Definitely coming back again but maybe next time I will try the night tour.
