Hotels near Chiang Mai Old City

Travelodge Nimman is truly my favorite place to stay every time I visit Chiang Mai. It's not far from the bustling area, but it's located in a quiet neighborhood. What I look forward to most is the breakfast; while there aren't many options, the quality is consistently good and delicious. The rooms are also clean.

The room is in the heart of Chiang Mai city, clean, and close to cafes, restaurants, and bars. However, the bedroom lighting is extremely dim and confusing.

Loved my 4-night stay at this cozy, family-run spot! The first night had some wind noise rattling the door, but the next three nights were heavenly, the huge super king sized bed and pillows are insanely comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The host goes above and beyond, super friendly, lent me an adapter when mine was broken, and helped carry guests luggage into their rooms (no elevator). Great location, too. 10/10, no regrets, highly recommend!

I love the 99 brand. I’ve stayed at the sister hotel next door as well and 99 The Gallery Hotel shares some of the same staff. So the warm, inviting and pleasant service is the same. I would consider 99 The Gallery Hotel as the more approachable of the 2. Great for a solo traveler. No frills but still pleasant and I don’t know if it was because of low season but it was very affordable! Including a 99 THB breakfast promotion. I highly recommended this hotel if you’re a couple or solo traveler, the location can’t be beat with many attractions, cafes, and events in walking distance. Also, it’s right next to the Sunday night market, in case you happen to be here on a Sunday. Very pleased!

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Tha Phae Gate, with many high-quality massage shops and restaurants within walking distance. It's an ideal place to stay when exploring the Old City. Additionally, POR Hotel is part of a chain, so the service and facilities are of a certain standard. The room offers easy access to the pool, allowing you to take a dip whenever you return to the hotel to relax. The water quality in the bathroom is also good, and the spacious bathroom includes a bathtub. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai.

everything was good and perfect except the rooms it looks very old i hope they can modernize it besides that all good

The room rate remains the most prominent feature of this chain. This stay was nearly perfect in almost every way, except for the bathroom, which featured an unusual layout behind the bedroom window curtain. The separation of the wet and dry areas, the placement of the toilet, and the ventilation system, which occasionally allowed odors to drift back into the bedroom, were all poorly arranged.

We booked this for our stay in Chiang Mai a total of 4 days. Staff were always very kind and helpful. the breakfast buffet is good. They even have a resturant which has different types of food. Just a little far away from old town, if that’s where you planning most your itinerary. We had the duluxe mountain view room, which was good. Overall would highly recommend.

Located in the heart of the Nimman area, surrounded by numerous coffee shops and massage parlors, the location is perfect! The front desk staff are very friendly, and there's a charming, small pool. The room was also neat and clean, and the price was reasonable. Overall, it offers excellent value for money!
