Fantastic 5.0
must see in shanghai as the colorful night skyline of city hi rises are amazing and beautiful! klook made it so easy to book at great price, i think either the same or slightly less than buying tickets directly at the pier.

This was such a fun and immersive banquet. Big choice of hanfu, the hair was beautifully done (you can have it up or down). I paid for hair and make up but opted out of the make up, just the small decorative touches, as I don’t like using shared make-up and brushes. The overall outfit was amazing. The food was surprisingly good and the actors did well. Great service overall, I highly recommend getting VIP seats for the best views. There is a small game at the end for those who want to participate. The show is in Chinese however there is a projected translation on the wall.

Shanghai Disneyland was an absolutely magical experience! ✨ The park is beautiful, the atmosphere is incredible, and the rides are truly world-class. TRON was one of my favourite attractions, and riding it twice made the experience even more unforgettable! What made this visit especially meaningful was the feeling of being a child again, bringing back wonderful memories and reminding me of the magic of Disney. From the spectacular theming to the exciting attractions, every moment felt special. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Definitely a must-visit for Disney fans and anyone looking for a little magic in their life. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic 5.0
I purchased my admission ticket and Premier Access through Klook and had a truly convenient experience. In particular, TRON, which I was most looking forward to, is a very popular attraction with a regular wait time of about two hours. Thanks to Premier Access, I was able to board after waiting only about 10 minutes! I was so satisfied to cut down on long wait times and enjoy other attractions more leisurely. The admission process was also really simple. I just needed to bring my passport to verify entry, and it was convenient because I didn't need to get or keep a separate ticket—just scanning the QR code was enough. Being able to enter quickly without complicated procedures was great for saving time during my trip. Since wait times for popular attractions at Shanghai Disneyland tend to be quite long, purchasing Premier Access seems like a great choice if you want to save time. Overall, everything from buying the tickets to entering the park was convenient and satisfying! If you are planning a visit to Shanghai Disneyland, I recommend using Klook. 😊

Fantastic 5.0
The park is huge and fun to experience. Explored with the bus first which is included in the ticket and we managed to see the animals in the enclosure then hired the panda carts to do the rest of the park. they are an hour long for hiring. lots of animals to see and the kids playground had cool activities for the young at heart. facilities clean and restaurants are super quick with meals

The park is huge and it’s best to visit on weekdays when it’s less crowded. The park have few areas to go for like one piece and ultraman. The shows are definitely worth watching, especially the dolphin and orca shows. Be sure to check the show timings at the entrance when you arrive. We booked our tickets through Klook and the process was smooth and hassle-free. Kids below 1.4m (around 3–4 years old) can enter for free.

What to know before visiting Shanghai

What to expect in Shanghai

The things-to-do lineup is led by Theme parks, Tours, Observation decks, Parks & gardens and Zoos & aquariums, giving travellers a mix of family attractions, guided experiences and outdoor options to choose from. That spread means you can balance big-ticket days at attractions with lower-cost park visits or short observation-deck stops. Demand peaks in October and is quietest in July, so expect the busiest experiences in October and much lighter crowds in July, which affects availability and crowd levels for the same tickets.

How to choose what to book

Your main choice is whether to prioritise a big attraction or a flexible experience: pick a single headline attraction or a mix of shorter tours and outdoor stops. Tours offer the widest range — from entry-level options around MYR 81 to upper-end experiences near MYR 292 — so they suit travellers who want either budget alternatives or premium guided days.

If you mainly want low-cost filler activities, Parks & gardens is the most affordable way in with a typical price about MYR 24, while Theme parks sit at the upper end with a typical price around MYR 316. Observation decks and Zoos & aquariums have narrower ranges, so shopping around there gains less on price compared with Tours.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book roughly 10 days ahead, while the earliest planners secure tickets about 19 days out. Because many people travel in October, that is the month when booking a little earlier matters most; last-minute bookings are still common given typical lead times of about 4 days ahead.

How Shanghai prices compare

The table below shows how the city's top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Theme parks MYR 316 MYR 264 – 418
Tours MYR 134 MYR 81 – 292
Observation decks MYR 109 MYR 89 – 142
Parks & gardens MYR 24 MYR 16 – 24
Zoos & aquariums MYR 93 MYR 57 – 114

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
