Fantastic 5.0
I used it with friends and applied for the morning class because I was curious about the market tour. To be honest, I thought it was a bit expensive, but after the class, I didn't think so at all. 1. The market tour arrives when you think, "Hmm, I walk a bit more than I thought?!" And it's fun because they buy the ingredients for today's cooking and explain them appropriately and understandably even if you don't know any English. They also explain seasonal fruits such as mangoes, and I bought and ate mangoes on the spot, and it was the best mango in my life. 2. The cooking studio was in a different place from where we first met, and it was neatly prepared according to the number of people. The eating area, the cutting area, and the fire area were separated, and it was decorated with colorful colors, so it looks pretty when taking pictures. You have to move up and down the stairs depending on the cooking process, but it wasn't too difficult. 3. We made a total of 5 dishes, and among them, Som Tam is made together with everyone (the teacher assigns roles), and Mango Rice is made by the teacher and only explains it, so you can think of it as making about 3 actual dishes. Except for the essential ingredients for each dish, you can adjust the sauce according to your preference. (You can choose the spiciness, and you can adjust the amount of cilantro and other fragrant vegetables) 4. Because they give you time to eat after finishing each dish, you should come without eating so you can eat everything. (Of course, you can leave it) You make it to your taste, so you eat it more deliciously. They give you a bottle of water in advance. 5. The teacher explains it really fun and the process is designed to allow you to cook as safely as possible. A teacher's assistant is needed in the middle, and the person designated as an assistant needs a little arm strength. (Women are definitely capable) The atmosphere was pleasant throughout the experience, so I enjoyed it without realizing how time was passing. 6. After the end of all the courses, they give you a souvenir, a recipe book, and a certificate of completion, and they write your name in Thai on the certificate of completion (if you want). It was a great experience and I would like to visit again with my family.

We booked the evening class because we wanted to skip the market tour. We really enjoyed the experience and we had a great time. Our instructor was very patient and made the recipes very easy to follow. A must-do when in Bangkok! The food we made was good and we even got a certificate after the class. The place was clean and very homey. Highly-recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
Chinese people don't deceive Chinese people. It's so much fun, friends! After registering on-site, the teacher will lead everyone to the vegetable market to purchase and learn about the ingredients and spices used for cooking today. All ingredients are fresh and made on the spot, and cooked with a gas stove, so it has a good wok hei. The whole classroom is very warm and clean, the tableware is replaced quickly, and the rhythm is well arranged. The school will prepare the ingredients and kitchen utensils, so students don’t need to prepare or clean them at all. The teacher is very humorous and teaches in English throughout. Some keywords are relatively easy to understand, and the pronunciation of some ingredients in Chinese will also be introduced, such as the basil leaves for Pad Krapow, shrimp paste (Cantonese ha gao), etc. They will also take the initiative to take pictures of us when we go to the vegetable market, and also took very beautiful photos while waiting on the spot. I went with my husband and had a great time. Several families with children also participated. The overall experience was very good. Safety: In terms of safety, knives and gas stoves will be used. If you bring children, you need to take care of them. Location: The location is easy to find, in a small branch alley next to a very prosperous city center. Instructor: Our instructor is Ant. He is very, very nice and super cute.

it was such a cool experience! the staff are really nice and the location is great as it’s really close to the photography location! would definitely recommend going with one of their photographers as we had such a cool experience having our pictures taken in such gorgeous locations! you get to keep all of the pictures that get taken not just picking 2 or 3 which we really like, and the hair, makeup and costume with accessories are all really well done! would definitely recommend and would come here again!

pictures turned out so great even without touchup! the outfits were also gorgeous and price was great. just note if you're doing makeup that the brushes are shared but you have the option to top up for them to open a new brush for you.

My sister and I booked this class while in Bangkok. The class itself is very clean and aesthetic. Our instructor was extremely adorable, and she explained everything very clearly. The market was very close to the class and was stocked with local ingredients which was super exciting to see and experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole class. It was one of the best experience in our trip.

Fantastic 5.0
This was an absolutely fantastic class. As soon as you enter, check your voucher at the office on the right side of the entrance and wait there. After stretching, light running, and jump roping for warm-up, beginners are gathered separately for instruction. They teach various moves, including hooks, uppercuts, knee kicks, low kicks, and kicks, with 1-on-1 mitt training in stages. The training is constant and engaging, so your arms will be shaking by the end of the class. I wish I had more time to take the class every day. Highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this experience the best. our instructor was very engaging and very informative. She made sure to make the cooking experience fun. She also encouraged everyone to participate not only in the preparation of the meal, but also in the whole activity - from going to the market to buy the ingredients upto enjoying the meals prepared by us. I would definitely recommend this activity to friends who will travel to Bangkok.

Top Attractions in Bangkok City, Thailand

The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew

When you visit Bangkok, the Grand Palace is a must-see. It’s the city’s most famous landmark, home to Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The golden roofs and detailed Thai architecture show Bangkok’s royal history and rich cultural heritage.

Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)

Across the Chao Phraya River from the Grand Palace, Wat Arun is one of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok. You can climb its tall central tower for amazing city views, especially during sunrise or sunset when the temple glows in the light.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Shop like a local at Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok’s most famous shopping spots. With thousands of stalls, you’ll find clothes, art, plants, and souvenirs. Don’t forget to try the local street food, from mango sticky rice to coconut ice cream.

Khao San Road

For a taste of Bangkok’s nightlife, head to Khao San Road. The street is filled with bars, live music, and food stalls that stay open late. It’s also a nice place to meet other travelers and experience Bangkok’s energetic atmosphere.

Siam Paragon and MBK Center

In Bangkok’s city center, Siam Paragon and MBK Center are two of the largest shopping malls. You’ll find fashion stores, restaurants, and even aquariums inside. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, shop, and enjoy modern Bangkok life.

Tips before visiting Bangkok

1. Stay Connected with an eSIM

Before arriving in Bangkok, set up a Thailand eSIM so you can easily use maps, translation apps, and rideshare services like Grab. You can buy one online before your trip or at Bangkok International Airport. Having internet access makes getting around the Bangkok metropolis much easier.

2. Dress Code at Religious Sites

When visiting Bangkok’s temples, like the Grand Palace or Wat Pho, you must dress modestly. Cover your shoulders and knees, and avoid sleeveless tops or short skirts. Respecting the dress code shows appreciation for Thai culture and local traditions.

3. Greeting Customs

The traditional Thai greeting is the wai, you press your palms together and give a small bow. You’ll often see this gesture when meeting locals or thanking someone in Bangkok. It’s a polite and respectful way to connect with people during your visit.

4. Tipping Practices

Tipping isn’t required in Bangkok, but it’s always appreciated. Leave small change for good service at restaurants, hotels, or taxis. Even a small tip shows gratitude and helps support the friendly service culture in Bangkok.

5. Market Haggling

Shopping at places like Chatuchak Weekend Market or Patpong Night Market is a fun part of visiting Bangkok. Bargaining is normal, so don’t be shy to negotiate politely for a better price.
