Things to do in Qingyuan

The coordinator of the local tour operator, Maggie got in touch with us early before the trip, & created a chatgroup to facilitate communication. She also provided detailed information of the arrangement one day prior to the trip. The tour guide, Raymond Lao is very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. The pick-up & return to hotel, & between the attractions were smooth & seamless, & the transport vehicle was spacious & comfortable. The natural attractions are panoramic & spectacular. Highly recommended for nature-lovers, who are able & do not mind some walking & stairs-climbing, & do not fear heights.

tour guide Raymond was assigned to lead us for this tour and he was very knowledgeable about the place, even the district and the history of Guangzhou and whole of China. He knows exactly where are the great photo spots and very friendly to offer help to take photos for us. Raymond is a very experienced guide and accommodating to us for taking time to climb up to see the gorge and for climbing down back to base. The driver Mr Xu also ensured that we had a safe journey from places to places and ensured that the car was clean and comfortable for our trips.

I really don't recommend going in the summer. It feels like you're melting, it's way too hot. The kids were already in no mood to play. We didn't ride the little train or the Ferris wheel. It's smaller than the one in Guangzhou, but the park staff service was excellent. The animals were all hot and finding their own ways to stay cool 😂. The kids said they want to go again in the winter 🤭.

Buying tickets on Klook and scanning the code for entry is convenient and fast. The hotel restaurant is very large, clean, and hygienic. There is enough distance between tables, and the variety of food is abundant and delicious. Highly recommended!

Summer is the perfect time for water activities, so much fun! There are both indoor and outdoor options, but overall, Royal Hot Spring is better! The capybaras in the park are especially well-behaved, and it costs 50 for an interactive feeding session. The staff are great and provide explanations along the way, thumbs up 👍
