Fantastic 5.0
Our guide and driver, Mario, was truly outstanding. His humorous introductions at each attraction kept things lively throughout the entire trip. We spent over four hours in the car, and he continuously shared insights about everything we saw. He is definitely one of the best guides I've ever encountered. I highly recommend this tour; it's far more worthwhile and enriching than visiting the Forest Tower or seeing the giants.

Fantastic 5.0
Nice guide for hopping around. The guide Giovanni has lots of local knowledge about the area and its history. He even shared his favorite places through a dedicated website, very handy after a short intro to the city.

Great 4.0
it maybe that this is just a new offering and my guide was still unfamiliar with the set up but before and after the trip he insisted that he was not paid yet as the provider tagged my tour as "free". I gave him 20 euros after and just thought of it as a tip but it was confusing at rhe very least. Also we had some trouble communicating as he had some issues with English. As for the meal part only 1 main was covered. It was lovely but I didn't know what exactly ti expect given the vague description. Still a nice way to see Oslo highlights but could use some improvement.

Great 4.0
The location is very local and authentic, with many foreign workers and people from different countries around the area. It feels lively and a little mixed, which gives you a real local experience. The hotel has a lovely vintage colour scheme and design, and the food was delicious. It’s also conveniently located near the Metro station. Overall, a great local experience! 😊

What to know before visiting Oslo

Quick snapshot of Oslo’s travel rhythm

Oslo draws bookings mainly for Tours and Cruises, with Museums and outdoor activities also showing up in searches. Demand spikes in the northern summer and quiets down in late winter, so the city swings between lively summer months and a much calmer February.

Best times to visit and how prices move

According to Klook booking data, July is the busiest month while February sees the lowest demand. Prices across the year fluctuate: Klook’s data shows a clear price peak in March and a noticeable dip in June, so demand and price don’t always move together—July is busiest but not the most expensive. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for June or the quieter late-winter months; for peak-season atmosphere, plan for July and the surrounding summer months.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most travellers from Malaysia book fairly close to travel dates, with typical bookings about a day in advance and earlier planning around two weeks out for some activities. That means you can be flexible and still find options, but consider booking a bit earlier for summer travel when demand surges. Use Klook to check availability and lock in key Tours or Cruises once your dates are fixed.
