Fantastic 5.0
This is my fourth stay here, and it's truly our favorite staycation spot because it has a kitchen, haha. My husband prefers to cook our meals. It really feels like home, almost like having a rest house that's a condo unit. 💖 The staff are incredibly kind too! 💖💯 My family also enjoyed their time here, even though some had to sneak out by 10 PM :)

Fantastic 5.0
Had a great stay at Hop Inn Hotel Makati Avenue — the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very affordable for its excellent location in Makati. The room had everything I needed, including strong air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed, while the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. It’s also conveniently close to restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and nightlife spots, making it a perfect choice for travelers looking for a practical and budget-friendly stay in the city.

Good value for money. cheaper than booking directly from the hotel. loved that the hotel uses bottles and refillable water instead of regular plastic bottles for water. loved the breakfast buffet options as well. right amount of variety.

Fantastic 5.0
Loved my stay here! Stayed in a 4-bunk dorm and the room was surprisingly spacious, with big, comfy beds. Cleanliness was top-notch—from rooms to bathrooms to hallways. Huge plus that you can request daily towel and sheet changes for free. Staff and guards were all friendly and welcoming, and the lobby felt open and not stuffy. Never got bored with all the activities—board games, arcade, billiards, beer pong, plus free games with prizes. Breakfast buffet is only ₱300 and totally worth it. They also have a restaurant, rooftop bar, lounge areas, Skype booth, conference room, and even an ATM in the lobby. Only downside: elevators can be slow since there are only two serving up to the 13th floor. Overall, great value and fun stay—would definitely come back!

Fantastic 5.0
1. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces for guests. Free parking once checked in; additional free parking for 2 hours after checking out. 2. Room: We were surprised that our room was upraged from a Superior Room to a Deluxe Room for free. A complimentary birthday cake was delivered to the room. 3. Buffet breakfast (Cafe 1228): Plenty of food choices. The food was good, however, some dishes are cold. Suggestion: food warmer. 4. Restaurants (The Lounge and Jasmine): Great food and service. There was an issue with the airconditioning system in The Lounge when we had our lunch. They explained it and seated us near an air cooler. 5. Rescue Bar (by the pool): Great pizza and drinks. Great service as well. 6. Pool area: The pool was clean. The attendants were accommodating. Even though it was raining a bit and the weather was cold, the pool was still warm. A 5-star hotel giving a 5-star quality service.

What to know before visiting Makati

Quick snapshot of Makati and what to expect

Makati is a compact urban hub known for city attractions, tours, shopping and wellness — playground-style family activities, attraction passes and tours lead bookings. Demand rises and falls through the year, with the busiest spell in December and much quieter demand around May.

Best months to visit based on demand and prices

Klook booking data show demand peaks in December and hits a trough in May. Prices move independently: December is typically the cheapest month for activity prices on Klook, while June is usually the priciest. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for December or the quieter shoulder months; if you want the peak-season buzz and events, plan for December when demand is highest. Note the divergence here — December is busy but, per Klook data, also typically offers the lowest activity prices.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most travellers from Malaysia book close to travel: typical bookings on the platform are made about 1 day ahead, though some people secure plans up to around 11 days in advance. That makes Makati a good fit for flexible, short-notice trips — you can often book playgrounds, passes or tours a day or two out, but consider locking in popular time slots earlier in December when demand spikes. Use Klook to check availability and secure what you need without overplanning.
