Fantastic 5.0
Absolutely fantastic tour! The Grand Holland Rotterdam and The Hague Guided Day Tour was very comprehensive, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable from start to finish. We covered so many beautiful and iconic places without ever feeling rushed. Huge thanks to our excellent tour guide, Lucas, who was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
A great place to visit to look at the places in Netherlands; also wonderful to take many pictures and spend time when the weather’s perfect.

Fantastic 5.0
driver Pete was an excellent tour guide, experienced and very knowledgeable. the timing at each stop was prefect. He knew his way around and avoided extra walking to get us to the closest distance at each stop.

Great 4.0
I visited because I love Escher's work so much, but it was disappointing that they weren't originals. If they had even displayed original prints, the artwork would have felt more alive and impactful. A double scoop of disappointment.

What to know before visiting The Hague

What to expect in The Hague

The Things to Do catalogue in The Hague is led by Museums, Cable cars, Tours and Attraction passes, giving a mix of cultural visits and sightseeing experiences that suit short city stays and relaxed explorers. That spread means travellers can pick quick museum visits or longer guided Tours depending on time and budget. Demand peaks in April and is at its quietest in January, so expect the busiest scenes in April and much lighter crowds in January.

How to choose what to book

The main decision is whether you want a quick cultural stop or a longer guided experience, and that will steer your budget and planning: the widest range is in Tours, with entry-level typically around MYR 199 and upper-end typically around MYR 231, so Tours cover both affordable and more premium options. Cable cars have a narrow range so shopping around gains little — a typical price sits at MYR 69, making them the most affordable way in for quick sightseeing.

Museums sit in the mid-range where what you get can vary by offering and operator; a typical museum booking is around MYR 97, which is handy for filling gaps between major attractions. Attraction passes are also consistently priced at MYR 93, useful when you want predictable costs rather than hunting for bargains.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book fairly close to arrival, typically about 2 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 21 days ahead, so plan on short lead times rather than months in advance. That short cushion matters most in April, when demand peaks and giving yourself even a few days can help lock in the experience you prefer.

How prices compare across categories

The table below shows how the city's main categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Museums MYR 97 MYR 93 – 97
Cable cars MYR 69 MYR 69 – 69
Tours MYR 215 MYR 199 – 231
Attraction passes MYR 93 MYR 93 – 93

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
