such a great experience. You have to come on time ao the train wont leave you behind. They are just going to check your qr code then everything is set. Btw,we had a stop over for about 10 mins i guess
It was a memorable journey for me. The train left on time and provided us with a scenic view of the ocean and the mountains. We were blessed with good weather so we could enjoy the ocean view along the Hai Van pass to our hearts content. What was more exciting was the food and entertainment on the train. I couldn't help smiling all through the journey. It seems like most tourists come till Lang Co bay only for the sake of the Hai Van pass view as most of them go off at the station there and the train became almost empty. The train stops there for about 10-15 minutes allowing you to get out and take in the view. After that, you get to enjoy the mountains and the town views. The train arrived in Hue ahead of the schedule which was nice. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.
I just came to the train station and showed the ticket for the staff and they let you in for your seat. Comfortable and spacious seats, there's a meal car with some music on the back. Views are great and worth some pictures. Worth the experience
The train is nice, the interior is interesting, the restauration car is fun, and the best thing of the journey is the view! The train slows down in several scenic spot and I happened to sit on the window seat and it was fantastic!
A great way to travel between da nang and hue, very scenic route which hugs the coast. Beautiful views, especially from the right hand side. Comfy seats. Please be aware our train left at 14:50 even though stated after 15/1/25 departure time would be 15:10. Ticket very easy to use at station.
It was the best and fun experience ever! There are so much to explore and one day seems not enough. I felt like I was in a fantasy world here. If you want to explore all the stations, you must go early in the morning. Booking from Klook is much easier and cheaper actually. Thanks to Klook for that. And we got free to glass of beers toward the end of the journey. Yeah!
need to get paper ticket by showing the klook booking over the train station counter. it is hazzle free redemption. it depends on your luck whether you can get the seaview window seat. train departed on-time at 7:50am and reach Hue at 11:30am
bring wet wipes!!! and headphones… the view is amazing if you get the view side, not so much if you get the other side. food cart has snacks, coffee and beer. how musician with a speaker is in the cart for about an hour and a half…. if your seat is near it you’ll need earplugs lol. wipe everything clean and enjoy your journey!
we thought that the train would be 2 to 3 hours only but it ended up being 4 hours. it’s okay because our hotel is in Da Nang so our train was very useful because we needed to go back after exploring Hue. The seats were comfy and there was a lot of leg space but unfortunately there were so many noisy kids in the train.
If you want to experience the full romance of a local Vietnamese train (it's like a rural train), I recommend giving it a try. However, the train may be delayed, so it's best to plan your schedule so you're not rushing to your next activity (on the day we traveled, trains were delayed by an hour, one after the other, so we waited in the waiting room). We requested seats together through the Klook option, and although we were facing backwards and didn't have a sea view, we were able to see it well from the next seat.
