Reviews summaryHad an amazing day tour to Hue exploring Vietnam's historical heritage! This was by far the best handled guided tour I've taken. Our guide, Tâm, messaged the pickup time in advance and met me right at the hotel entrance. We took the tunnel instead of the Hai Van Pass, but Tâm gave us a great history overview along the way, including a nice coffee break at a lagoon. The Highlights: Khai Dinh Tomb: Incredibly beautiful and unique architecture. Lunch: A wonderful group meal at a lovely hotel. Tâm perfectly handled my dietary restrictions. Thien Mu Pagoda: Stunning views and even better architecture. The Imperial Citadel: Amazing!! I’ve never seen such a beautifully restored palace. It was worth every bit of the heat. Quick Tip: The 2.5-hour drive is very comfortable and great for a nap. Definitely bring a hat and stay hydrated, as walking around the sites gets really hot. Overall, an incredible experience!
In Hue, we visited key historical sites like the Imperial City and royal tombs, which gave a good overview of Vietnam’s imperial past. The guide was knowledgeable and shared useful historical context, but English clarity can vary depending on the group. Lunch was a set meal at a local restaurant—decent but not exceptional. There’s quite a bit of time spent on the road, still, it’s a convenient way to cover both Lang Co Bay and Hue in a single day without planning transport yourself, especially if you’re short on time in central Vietnam. Shoutout to our female guide named "on" / "ohwn" ?
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Our group was made up of several different nationalities, which made the experience even more fun as we all enjoyed the day together. Our guide, Tam, was excellent—punctual, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable. He truly enriched my understanding of the history and the intricate artistry behind the structures we visited. The day was further improved by a delicious, traditional sit-down Vietnamese lunch. One of the highlights for me was purchasing a beautiful pearl bracelet in Hue; learning about how the pearls are harvested made the souvenir feel even more special.
safe ride and hassle free! the guide was friendly and informative. you need to walk a lot up and down. so I think it is not senior friendly. the food at the restaurant was good. they provided a bottle of water in the bus!
A truly perfect day trip! Tour guide Vien contacted me via VX the morning before, and sent the license plate number the next morning, picking me up right on time. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, and surprisingly, the group lunch was also delicious! We visited the Tomb of Khai Dinh, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Hue Imperial City in order. I personally didn't find it particularly tiring, and listening to the explanations made it easier to remember things. It seemed like I was the only one in the group who spoke Mandarin, and I was worried that I wouldn't understand anything since my English isn't very good, but in reality, I was able to understand most of it. Vien explained the thirteen emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, the architectural regulations of the Imperial City, and some Vietnamese history. I learned a lot, and I am very grateful to the guide and driver for a perfect day trip in Hue~
My partner and I enjoyed the tour very much. Our tour guide, Van, was knowledgeable, informative, and incredibly friendly. She also has a great sense of humour that kept everyone entertained throughout the tour. Van is a gem! Thank you
Lang Co Bay and Hue City Tour was wonderful! The bay is peaceful and scenic, perfect for photos. Hue City is rich in history with beautiful temples and the Imperial Citadel. The guide was friendly and informative — a great day trip with stunning views and cultural experiences!
Vin was great, fun and very knowledgeable. The history of Hué was so fascinating. Her English was easy to understand which made the tour enjoyable. The pace was well thoughtout, explaining the history of each location and then allowed everyone to spend some time to explore ourselves.
The tour was excellent despite the hot weather. We enjoyed learning the history of Hué’s city, especially the mausoleum and citadel. The food was also heavenly, we got to taste Hué’s palate. The tour transfer was seamless from pickup to drop off. All thanks to our guide, Ohm. Overall experience was pleasant. Would recommend this.
my frd and I enjoy the trip so much, even tho a bit pricy for having a private tour with a good vehicle and nice driver as well as the all rounded tour guide. it would be even better if more scene or tourist spots can provide!
