We experienced a haunted house like something out of Harry Potter, go-karts, two types of roller coasters, and crocodile fishing. It was a fun place, very Vietnamese in a good way. Please note that the nearest station is National University Station, not Suoi Tien Station. It's easy to get there by train. On the way back, I recommend getting off at Thao Dien Station to visit the general stores, cafes, and restaurants. Vesta Lifestyle & Gifts was a great general store where I could buy lots of souvenirs.
It's a unique religious theme park. There are many statues of important religious figures such as Lord Buddha, Hung Kings, and God of Fortune. There is a great temple too, with grand altars inside. Some attractions are quite unique, such as the Nine Levels of Hell, a darkly-themed walkthrough, depicting torture scenes in the underworld, and Journey to the Center of the Earth, a dark ride to a subterranean world, with mummies, skeletons, and treasures. If you have extra time, or come with kids and teens, or someone seeking the bizarre, authentic, and local cultural and religious immersion, this place is worth-considering. The ticket only grants access to the park. You buy tickets again inside for any rides or attractions of your choice.
We went on Wednesday and it wasn't too crowded. The area is incredibly beautiful and vast. It was great that there was a tourist train, which offered free rides back to the main gate. My kids had enjoyed the numerous rides and games. Feeding the crocodiles was a unique and exciting experience for the kids. The addition of a water park was a bonus, especially during the summer season. Suoi Tien Theme Park is definitely worth visiting.
We went by subway (one stop before the last; VISA Touch worked fine). It was extremely hot, so heat protection is essential. We fed crocodiles, visited a mini zoo, rode an indoor roller coaster, an outdoor roller coaster, and a haunted house-like ride that you view from a coconut boat. Finally, we played in the pool. Ride tickets were available right next to each ride. There was an incident where a ride stopped midway, and we waited in the dark for about five minutes with no announcement, everyone using their phone flashlights. It was so hot that we managed with fans and portable fans. My husband and child suffered from heatstroke. The pool was as fun as it looked on TV. Lockers for belongings were paid, but inner tubes were free. I tried the slides several times, and they weren't too scary. Despite a few things, we had a great time!
A fun day with the family. Suoi Tien still retains its traditional culture, but there are still many new things. In particular, I booked the endless fun combo, the actual ticket price was 350,000 VND. Booked tickets on Klook for only 280,000 VND. Great 🤩!!!
It is indeed a wholesome and family activity. We were entertain by beautiful and giant size structures. We like most the castle and farm fresh fruits. Also, its surprising to see numerous crocodiles. this is highly recommended for family retreat and never forget to bring swimming wear. hahaha
needs whole day to explore the place, wonderful location, just overlooking from the train station, walking distance from the train stop..train travel from operahouse is 30mins and paid 200 pesos for 3pax, train fee for below 5yo is free!
I don't think you can have this kind of experience anywhere else in your life. There are hardly any people on the large grounds, and it feels like there are only one or two groups per ride. The rides aren't constantly running, which is a really strange feeling, lol. If you really run out of things to do during your trip, it's worth a visit. We rode four attractions, took the Happy Train to the far end, and walked back to the entrance, which took just under two hours! So, I'll say it again, you shouldn't make Suoi Tien Park your main destination. But if you're up for this kind of bizarre experience, you'll be satisfied.
The overall experience is worth-it. The theme park is very wide, with various exploration themes about Vietnam culture. There is a train going around with frequent departure. Photo-stops are only few steps away from the main train route.
Facility: It's great for families and children. It's very spacious. Feeding the alligators is highly recommended; I was thrilled by how strongly they pulled on the fishing rod. We also got to play carnival games like target shooting. I didn't go on any of the rides. I think the Golden Palace combo set might be a matter of personal taste.
